This song, to me, represented Quasi's victory over his horrible situation. Where in the beginning, the song was about how Quasi was a virtual prisoner in the bell tower, now the song shifts in tempo and is more upbeat to reflect Quasi's victory over Frollo and his victory in the fact that despite his appearance he is finally accepted into society where he belongs.

This is my favorite movie of all time. As I child this movie was cool to watch because of it adventurous nature and ongoing humor but as I got older, the plot started making more sense and now I'm fully aware that this movie has a much deeper meaning than most could comprehend.
