I know how it is. I find myself blowing in the cartridge sometimes when I put in a NES cartridge for my son to play, especially since my console is well used and I get the flashing screen for some games.
Yeah, if you want to fix that flashing light problem, check out the video that I put up on "nes flashing light fix" or something similar for the title. With a little bit of sand paper you can fix that problem in no time flat.
lol, yeah, I know that it is really bad to do so but when I started making vids I was a bit nervous and well, old habits die hard. Kind of a force of habit
I'm actually thinking of starting a Famicom collection soon and I'm planning on getting this system. Does Disk part work all the time or do you get errors from time to time?
you really shouldn't blow into a cart like you did with mighty final fight. it's a misconception people live with that it makes the games work better while in fact it's the other way around. short term you're blowing away dust but in the long run the cart will corrode thanks to the air you're exhaling.
Yeah, Same routine. The inside of the Twin Famicom Disk portion is made by the same company as the famicom disk (Matushita) so they are exactally the same. Could just swap out a drive from you working famicom disk into this and have it work as well
Sweet i have one in black all in full working order + quite a fiew disk games :) good vid

could it be possible to remove the lock mechanism so it would'nt be a hassle everytime you want to switch?

You know there's an eject button for the cartridges.
JamesStainsTF 2 years ago
I'd kill to have one of those. So expensive on ebay though!

You're an alright guy, even though you don't use the eject button.

I think the first Twin Famicom looks nicer although it doesn't have turbo buttons.

I saw your video on replacing the disk drive belt. Do you follow those instructions when dealing with a Twin Famicom or is it different?
