it's really stupid that she HAS TO marry him if she'll get back with Rufus. I understand if she'll let him go on tour and probably get ~famous~ and acceptable to high society in a way again later but why does she have to get married? she doesn't need the money. what does Bart have?
One thing to remember is at that time dan and serena were still together and thats something he brings. Plus, when you think about, it's kind of anti-climatic if they call it off b/c there was like 40 mins of show left and Rufus was going out on the road. We all know they end up together. her being married to that a-hole and then leaving him is a good storyline to look forward to. They will see each other next season and she will give up everything to be with rufus.
they could have called it off right when Rufus meets with her before she walks down the aisle. that's the most rational thing to do if they ~love each other and everything~. but I guess that would have ended any plot for them if they did that. so they had to come up with this ridiculous and open to interpretation ending. I'd like to believe there's something more to them saying they love each other but not going their separate ways.
as infuriating and ridiculous it is, I'll still watch!
It's obvious that they will be together. the way they looked at each other when talking about what 20 years means and the way they say I love you. If it was the end I think they would have been sad. plus she looks so preoccupied at the wedding and then they show rufus on the bus, writing a song and smiling... thats precious. I actually heard a spoiler that he writes the song, then it becomes a hit and she knows it's about her.
Don't worry! They will be together next season :). Why else would they walk out of the suite smiling at each other? that was not "goodbye", it was "I love you and I'll be back"
yupp, yupp, yup. They are so great together it almost sickening. Sounds like there may be some bumps in the beginning of the season, but josh is not dumb and they will end up together... I just hope they don't drag it on too long. They are going to be Kandy 2.0, but if this relationship doesn't happen I will probably not watch. But it will work out because they love each other and "20 years doesn't just mean something, it means everything!"
