Im not going to blame the problem on anything, but your bit is huge and he looks like your could handle him with a smaller one if possible. Everyone has those days! :) You guys looked good out there.

I thought doing trail with my horse at a 4H show last year was scary!!! Thank goodness I had met the judge at a show the year before and loved him to death!! He gave such good compliments first then told me what I needed to work on nicely. It was reassuring :) And when your horse decided to stop he/she was like "No mom! I dont want to do this!!!" My horse did the exact same thing! No joke!! At least I know I am not the only one that had this problem! :D
