@Vanessiroth - Lol. It's the thought that counts, right? Poor Jeff didn't know I wasn't into the movies at all. How have you been Vanessa? What are you up to these days?
And for the lack of shirt? I didn't give it much thought. It was bedtime and my room can get pretty warm when the furnace runs.
No shirt with your bed in the background, I feel like you're hitting on your viewers. :P Anyways, if you're really getting frustrated with the rubic's cube you should just find one of the how to videos, it's pretty easy once you know the algorithms.
@AdamOfNebb - lol, I really need to make myself a nice blogspot again like I did when I was in my dad's basement. Unfortunately my basement is a huge mess from all the renovations in the past 2 years.
I've tried those popular Rubix Cube videos (and even favourited one) but the guy showing the demonstration goes too fast. I almost need to put it on slow-mo or something! :( Usually I just end up using an online computer program to solve it completely.
Crazy eyes in this one, Landon. ;) Glad your holiday went well. My family actually cancelled Christmas this year presents-wise because of the economy, which took a lot of pressure off of all of us, making the holidays a nice, subdued affair. Not sure I would want to go to Mexico this year with all of the drug war violence, but at least you're talking Cancun & not Acapulco. Of course, at -28 C, a trip to the fiery pits of hell might be an easy sell. I can't even imagine a cold like that.
@dafttool - I can hardly deal with this cold and this happens every year. Even short trips to the nearby parking lot freeze my extremities :( Wow, actually cancelled gift giving entirely with your family? The economy must definitely be strained where you are. Sharing time with family alone would be nice in its own light though :)
Hopefully there won't be any crazy gang activity at the beach resort. It would be bad for Mexico's tourism industry if visitors got caught in the crosshairs.
@landongendur I don't want to be a downer, but tourists have been getting caught in the crossfire, Acapulco even having mass tourist beheadings. NOWHERE near the American border is safe on the Mexican side. But I haven't heard of too many incidents in Cancun. Just be careful while you are there, & stay with your group when going out & about. We don't want anything bad to happen to our icicle, Landon. :)
@dafttool - Its interesting that you mention this because about 1 year ago my sister wanted to do some church stuff in Tijuana Mexico and my parents were like NO WAY.
However, most Canadians are confident about our safety in resort cities like Cancun and (most everyone's favourite) Puerto Vallarta. In the past 5 years, 112 Canadians have been killed in accidents, murders, drownings or suicides. From that number only 15 Canadians were murdered or died in suspicious deaths.
@landongendur As for the cold, it's not like you carry around a lot of natural insulation; you're just skin & bones. The cold probably cuts right through you. But I'll give it to you Canadians; you guys don't really complain about the cold & snow very much on youtube. I'm afraid I might border on whining in such a situtation. It gets hot here in FL, but never is that heat as complain worthy as your cold is.
@dafttool - lol, I really wouldn't get much sympathy if I complained about the cold in Saskatchewan ;) It just comes with the territory. Considering we don't have to worry about earthquakes, hurricanes, or even pests like cockroaches and termites I'd say we're lucky that our biggest issue is high heating bills 5 months of the year! :P
@landongendur What confounds me is how do you walk your dogs? I'm a big dog person, but braving the cold & snow drifts, especially on that last walk at 10 PM at night, seems almost a bridge too far to cross in your environment. Do the dogs become experts in holding it, & then being very quick about their business when they do go out?
@dafttool - you just reminded me of our Alaskan Malamute we had about 10 years ago. We used to tie him to a GT Snow Racer and have a blast going up and down our old crescent.
I guess it just depends on what kind of dog. My mom has a shih tzu and she never gets walked. Even when she has to poop outside she lifts her legs often because she doesn't want to touch the ground with her paws. lol. We also had a yellow lab when I was wee little and at least he had enough fur to brave the cold for walks.
Landon it appears you indeed did have a great Christmas. It was good to see you and Jeff together again. I thank you for sharing your Christmas as well. you warm up and stay warm. I hope you have a grand time when you go to Cancun this year.
@kickflipjr - Seriously, Jim Parsons on "The Big Bang Theory" is such a hoot. He's one of those actors where you have to ask "how the hell did they FIND this guy?!", lol
I have no software WAF for editing I have some places I could shoot some good stuff but I stay home most the time I am waiting for disability to kick in and things are not as fluffy as I would like so we are in super economy mode until I get some green backs flowing from my side the bed.
Excellent I am a sucker for things that light up too. Each year they have trouble finding something I haven't got. So if the power ever goes down I will be ready to locate anything. Every room has a battery light that when hung lights the entire room can't read with it from across the room but you can see much better than with a candle. MC HNY. Wife got the saints license plate #5 for her car her mother won it in the auction same number as the kicker Hartley whom my daughter met at a meetngreet.
@cdltpx Mother in law said she got her a saints license plate I thought it was going to be something like 3509 or some number out the pile but as far as numbers go the owner of the team has #1 this is a lifetime plate she changes cars now not license plates.
I feel so un-Canadian. I haven't seen an episode of the Big Bang series yet. Is it on cable or on one of the local channels?
The winter seems to be lasting forever. It doesn't seem to stop snowing outside.

@HaleyMary - Big Bang Theory is on CTV and also on cable too. You should definitely see at least one episode - it's really hilarious :D
Tell me about this weather! At this rate we'll still have snow in April! :(
