When I click on the ePSXe application and try to launch it, I get an error that says:

"The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application."

When I go to mininova to search for Suikoden 2(II), it says it doesn't exist.

Please help! I realllyy really wanna play this game again.

P.S I am trying to play this on a windows 7 software, didn't know if that made a difference or not. Thanks!

Ok, this may be another triple-comment, but I finally got it to work! my previous download was faulty is all.

Now I just hope that a) saves work and b) 1 and two are compatable

Ok, thanks. Trying to get it to work, I've downloaded the Epsxe and torrented the game via bittorrent, but i'm not sure how to open it- does it need to be burned to a disc to make it work?

@AdorableWolfTengu No, the file should be in .iso format, so when ePSXe is open, just go to FILE> Run ISO and go to where you downloaded it.

Should be simple.

If you burn it, put CD in and go RUN CD.

I followed everything in this tutorial says but why do I have an annoying message when I start suikoden.iso in the emu? It says: NO WGL EXTENSIONS by Pete's OpenGL2.

I have no Idea what that suppose to mean.

@BindSpaceImpulse101 just change the settings on Video Config page, it just depends which one out of three there suits your graphic card. emulator should still be valid, and I'll perhaps reupload games asap.

I could reupload the images for both SUIKODEN 1 AND SUIKODEN 2 myself, but only if I get sufficient likes as a support for you downloading them.

(Pete's GPU Plugins 1.77) just master the name bro, then follow the process he did like Extracting them, moving them and will get your epsxe. Remember to download the updated version bro. tc n gud luck

Beatzyouallup. Just go to the other video. Just in the search text (playstation 1 emulator tutorial) the fist video its the one it says (easy way) thats the one you should watch then if you didnt get Zlib1.dill file then just google it. If you didnt the site for the plugins just google (Emulator Zone) download the plugins that the guy download in the video. they might not the same because they update the version but it should add up just a little like (Pete's GPU Plugins 1.77) just master......

as i mentioned ealier, i have no idea how to get to the menu you had up at 3:38 the larger issue im having is with the ePSXe emulator itself..when i followed along with your video and you hit config, you got the option to select "scph1001 (us)" and i got an error message saying they couldnt find a bios and that i should search for one using a search engine by typing

"scph1001.bin"

after doing that and downloading it it STILL wont work

I had to download the zlib.dll separately, and I got the game on a ISO file, converted it with the powerISO.exe... so when I use the emulator, It just exits out and onto the desktop again... what do I do

I'm having problems with the downloading of the emulator. Everytime i click on it it says "this application has failed to start because zlib1 .dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem".

What do i do because i have tried re-installing it multiple times and any other information you can give me regarding these things would be greatly appreciated.

You could just search for zlib1.dll and download it. Thats what i did. Cant seem to get this working though, trying to convert the files to ISO with poweriso but the free version of poweriso can just convert 300 mb, and the files are quite larger than that.

Do i have to pay for it? I want to be sure because I dont wanna pay for it and it wont work anyway, wasted money otherwise.

After I extracted the Suikoden 1 and 2 file from Vuze (as my downloader) with Rarmonkey the files comes up as Winzip File instead as iso. And I cant get it zipped as a error message comes up "internal error processing iso image".

Should i still just try to zip it?

the emulators working fine and all that, but the Suikoden 1+2 that I downloaded was exactly same as yours, only they don't show as ISO files. they show as .ccd .img and .sub

use Winrar and extract all of the files into the folder with your emulator. But first make another folder inside of the emulator folder named /Games or just "Games" and extract all of the files there. if that doesnt help i'm sorry and you need to Redownload another Suikoden Torrent.....or whatever you decided to use =/.

Hey I followed your tutorial and I got everything working yesterday, but today when I ran the ISO file I got an error message saying "Missing render-texture extension" I"m using Pete's OpenGL2 and I'm using a Vista. The odd part is that I was working fine yesterdy and I couldn't think of anything that had changed.

@Lamperuge what that mean is ur using a custom shader that's been moved or deleted and you need to goto option gpu/graphics and then goto where the custom shaders are and see if this is the probem.

It is problem cause your download isn't finished or in worst case u didnt configure it correctly.

Try redownloading ~ it is common problem cause people manage to play it.

It means that ur download is either incomplete/corrupt.

Re-download is the only solution - that error has nothing to do with with software its just incomplete.

Well, it should come with the whole folder.

and when you are going through wizard it should be selected automatically.

try it out - I didnt hear anyone else having trouble with it.

If you thinking about game window size when you start it, here's what to do.

Before starting it go to > configure > Video > choose whichever one u using> config > setup the window size to wanted > click OK.

1. Be sure that u downloaded the right file.

Its coz its torrent.

They might recognize it as malware, but its due the small file size of some components. ITs fine, I use it. If you rly wanna play it, disable the protection until you download and thats it.

Actually Suikoden 3 is one of those games that can be played with pcsx2 newest beta. FPS will be low on older computers, but newer could run it fine.
