The treasure maps are very accurate and detailed drawings that tell you exactly where to fins the treasure, which get more and more valuable as you find more.

I hate playing games like this becouse ime like cersed. I got the "magical" necklace and did the stranger misson whare you haft to burn buildings. When I got all the buildings and boats he atomatcly walked into the water and died loosing all the bullets, money and the necklace that I havent got it back yet after 10 hours.

Treasure maps are kinda cool. If you look at the map, you can see a rope ("suicide" rope) which hints you that the treasure is located at Hanging Rocks.

lol when I played this I missed the initial deadeye instructions and only knew I could use deadeye when I got level 2...

I still don't use it though because the combat in this game is so easy anyway, especially with the autoaim.

The reason i found that treasure is because i got a random mission, a guy got hanged on a tree there. and i remembered that tree next to the big rock. just look for weird looking rock formations to find the gold.

@MrMustBNice well no. he doesnt know it exists. it gave him the tip but he never even attempted to use it (cause he doesnt read most things). hes only opened his satchel one time. and i DID find all the side quests, extras and i completed all the challenges. and i fast traveled everywhere. although to complete challenges it doesnt matter how you travel. you have to go searching for shit half way through all of the challenges.

Phil will find it. I did while on my way to a mission. A gang was attacking someone and i wanted a sneak attack so i snuck up on a guy between some rocks and got him. The enxt thing i knew i had the option for a treasure.
