It is interesting how people here do not think the artifacts of the Americas' indigenous culture belong to that culture. They say "finders keepers" or whatever lets them keep the cool trinket without a guilty conscience.
Indigenous peoples of the Americas have had so much taken from them. Any history on this subject is actually rather harrowing.
I would think the "right thing to do" would be obvious. These artifacts belong to their people.

Give me a break, it might not happen, but the Mayans hat a repeating calander aswell, it went by years and cosecutivly throughout a pattern. If your calander didn't end wihin a month, but a year; it doesn't meen the next year will start early, but something is going to happen.

This is a load of crap, most of the -legitimate- info about this object point that it was most likely made using professional industrial age techniques, and purchased by Mitchell-Hedges, who later "discovered it", then made a ton of cash off of this "magical ancient relic". I read the book, I have tried to find the so-called "Smithsonian Proof" that the M-H's skull possesses modern tool marks, but even the real Smithsonian studies only looked at the other skulls, not the M-H's skull. I don't know where people are getting this info from...unless they are just not digging deep enough!

lol I'm a firm believer in 2012 (though not the NIBIRU part, that's 100% fake) but for two simple reasons:
1- I lack faith in mankind and I think it would be a good idea to end world suffering
2- Einstein predicted it. Scientists around the world are debating it.
There WILL be something on 2012, wheather it'll actually BE appocalyptic, I don't know. I hope so, but I can't say for sure. I guess we'll just wait and see...

We always want to believe that there is some incredible phenomenal thing that we have yet to discover. It is part of human nature. My mother and I did some reseach tonight about this skull, and there are claims that the book of Genesis and books from Enoch discuss the crystal skull. But, I am not claiming anything, I just find it bizarre. I still have much reading to do about this enigma.
