it used to just totally freak him out, plastic bags caught on barbed wire fences in the wind also used to make him strangely nervous as well. (honestly !)

Too funny...and what typical springer puppy behavior, lol. Our springer, Hendrix, is famous for barking like mad at our neighbors little tiny dog...until she comes over to the fence. Then he runs like h*ll, lol. They're always brave...at first, rofl!

I had a springer named 'Tess' and she used to love being hoovered. When I was doing the stairs, she used to stand on the next stair up, so that I couldn't pass without hoovering her!! Tess died 3 weeks before she would have been 14 years old in January 2010. We have another pup now 'Star' and she hates the hoover, though sometimes she will rush past it to get to us - so we are hoping she won't stay frightened of it for long. (Maybe!!). I just love springer spaniels!! :-)

Ha Ha... we have a 2yr old Sprocker and he does this, his favourite is attacking the lawn mower, he barks and jumps at it and bites the grass in front of it, they're all nuts... endless fun though I love our Truff (Truffle) to bits evn if he's a raving loonie.

It depends where you live a lot of the time. We live out in the sticks and my Springer has served twice.

And it also depends on the time during the year. for example Springers are easier to find during May/June and early July whereas Cockers are far easier during winter (near Christmas time). At least that's how it is here in Malta.

Unfortunatly yeah. He fell down one and a half stories but he ecovered from it cuz this happend about a month ago but he broke one leg again. The same one. He was running and his paws where wet, he fell and broke it :( he already did one week with the plaster but he still has four more weeks to go :(

Mine also seems to have a mortal fear of the sweeper, I swear, I turn it on to sweep, and he looks like he's fighting for his life, growling, snarling, trying to hide in the dumbest places, so I've learned to let him out when I sweep, because my coffee tables usually end up turned over or something.
