  • AMEN..........

  • excellent

  • Correction AP Carter My Bad LOL

  • This was totally fucking AWESOME..... I don't know how else to describe it! Maybelle , AJ , June, Anita and the likes have since gone.... as well as Johnny. I'd pay good money to see the children, and grandchildren maybe even great grand kids perform again. Sad to see that they don't carry on the tradition

  • Great great performance!

  • Music royalty.

  • I sulk in the fact that I will never have a love with anyone like Johnny and June had...

  • The Nimmo Brothers do an amazing version of this in their acoustic set. They've never recordered it but for me it is the highlight of their show.

  • trop bien may ub

  • This video tears me up. I am watching very talented women back up the great Johnny Cash. His voice overcomes their talent, and brings tears to my eyes.

  • In my humble opinion, Johnny Cash NEVER sang anything better than when he sang gospel. Talk about "Amazing Grace"...he lived and exemplified it. RIP Man in Black, we still love you so.

  • Is Johnny's sister Joanne in this video?

  • @pwmj1071 No. L to R - Carlene's daughter, Tiffany, John Carter Cash, Carlene Carter, June Carter Cash, Johnny Cash, Johnny's daughter, Cindy.

  • Johnny looked confused too. Last few weeks I have thought , "There has got to be more" . I've never learned to beleive. Now. I don't believe. I do believe. I believe.

  • Awesome classical

  • heartfelt

  • i like this song

  • A man that go though life will leave his mark however Johnny Cash is a Giant....

  • This reminds me of my parents, I found my Daddy dead when I was 14, then last year I laid my head on my Mom's chest as she laid there passing. I MISS YOU MOM AND DADDY. I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU BOTH.

  • @mrsflash021208 So sorry for the loss of your parents. This song reminds me of my grandpa..Anytime I went anywhere with him, we had this Johnny Cash cassette tape we'd play...He is still alive but I don't see him almost at all anymore :/

  • Once you've lived in the country for any length of time, any city is just a prison.

  • Real men and real women singing about life, from the heart. ;])

  • One of my mom favorites !!! Miss you everyday mom !!!

  • I know that they have passed away but I still remember their music and it will live in my heart. I had met them in mid 1970s. Best Wishes LittleCountryDj

  • my grandpa use to sing this to me ... :'( <3 i miss you grandpa rip .. but ik he is in heaven so <33 :')

  • rip johnny and june

  • The song that inspired the 3 great albums of the same name by the NGDB - some of the best collections of country and folk music mixing the old and the new. One of the last recordings that Johnny & June did together (Circle III).

  • Which is carlene and which is Cindy?

  • @TheJaredwise Carlene is next to June and Cindy is next to Johnny.

  • this reminds me of my dad...he would lay in bed and sing this song. He passed away from lung cancer in 1980, just before I turned 10. It doesn't make me sad, it makes me smile because I can still hear him singing. Loved my daddy...miss him something awful.

  • Cool to hear Johnny Cash sing this great classic!

  • Can't wait to see my people after this life. Oh My...Oh My!!!!!

  • Beautiful song

  • it might be two stupid questions but I really like to know which concert this is? And Helen Carter never is divorced, is she? Just wondering about that.

  • @kunos15me 1981 Wembley Stadium, London, England. Helen passed away 2 June, 1998. She was always married to her husband, Glenn. Predeceased by son, Ken in 1969.

  • AMEN! AND AMEN!!!

  • I remember meeting Johnny and June Carter Cash and her Sisters, Helen and Anita in Traverse City, MI 1977. Best Wishes, I hope to meet John Carter Cash one day too. I have always loved their singing from the Original Carter Family, Alan Pleasant Carter, Mother Maybelle Carter and Sara Lee Carter right to John Carter Cash. Best Wishes, LittleCountryDJ

  • @LittleCountryDJ2003 ...er...I don't know how to tell you this , but they are dead?

How well did you know them , like ?

  • @mrlordmilton I knew this but I was just saying that I met them back in 1977. Their songs will live in my heart always. Best Wishes LittleCountryDJ

  • I cry EVERYTIME I hear this song because as LONG as I can remember, my mama told me she wants this song played at ehr funeral. She said it always reminded her of her own mom and wanted it to live on. UGH!! I HATE to hear what my MAMA wants at her funeral!!

  • Lovely! Brings tears to the eyes and a smile to the face. How many of us think of our own dear mother when we hear this?

  • I Lovingly Dedicate this song to my *MAMA*
