didnt know it was possible to get a skidder stuck. bravo you dont know what your doing. this is why we dont get paid what we used to. people will put anyone in a machine if it saves them 10 -15bux an hour. even if they do spend it all back on rubber and no production
OK dumb operator, I plow with the 665 New holland w/ 9' fisher plow. You need to get winter truck tires first, then plow. dont drive over snow that deep w/o expecting to bottom out. When your in a pinch like that, use the plow or bucket to push your way out like you tried but failed at that. Also, please grease the machine, it hurt my ears listening to it squeal!
I have a John Deere 6675, which shares the exact frame as that machine. I've done lots of plowing in deep snow and never been stuck like that. The machine has only just over 6" clearance with a flat bottom, so it gets high centered easily, even in snow, taking the weight/friction off the tires. You have to make sure wherever you go that your bucket goes first so that this doesnt hapen. I think this jackass backed down into this mess which is stupid. His tires look fairly bald too
Being someone who puts over 200hrs per winter on my 773 bobcat plowing snow. This is frigging painful to watch. Whoever is operating the loader in this vid needs to go back to common sense school then an operator course wouldnt hurt either. Funny vid thanks for sharing.
1.Install chains 2.scrape to the bottom with every push untill general depth of snow is gone 3.Keep a bag of Ice melt on board so you can melt the immediate track 4.A skid steer like yours weighs approx.5 tons and when stuck immediately creates an icecone below the (completely flat and sealed) undercarriage plate. If you're planing to plow mor then 10" of snow depth you must install chains on all four since you cannot get winter tires and the rubber on those specialty tires is as hard as rocks.
lol i know how this guy feels. I got stuck in a long as farm driveway though during this same snow storm in a skid steer.....it was like 10 at night...it sucked. W dug forever to get it out haha
I'd love to be there. Here in Newfoundland we get the wet heavy snow. You have any idea what it's like to shovel that shit, instead of the light flacky snow. I rather a lot of soft light snow, then a bit of heavy water logged snow.
Take that al gore ,with your global warming crap ,lol. Sorry dood I know you gotta live their but you gotta admit , God's got a sence of humor sometimes.
operator needs a hand shovel instead of skid steer, he do not know what hes doing.

Too much testosterone---too little brains.

@ridgerunner25 These guys should have shoveled the snow when he first got stuck. Then he never would have burried himself in so deep.
