The marines have been giving this exact demonstration at the park with the same types of helicopters (4 of them) for the past several NYC Fleet weeks and no one has been injured in the years before. I was there with my two small children (luckily on the other side of the park) watching the show. I don't blame the pilots, they were just landing were they were supposed to. I think the fault lies with the security on the ground. They should have pushed the crowd further back.
Lol,the osprey is a pentegon cash cow piece of shit that never should have left the drawing board. If where going to invest millions and sometimes billions of dollars in r&d just for the sake of it at least build something worth having. And maybe just maybe something safe that dosnt aquire the reputation of being a crew killer before it ever see's action.
