  • really nice sound and fun grooves.

  • Thank You again!

It pleases me when, any of my videos help someone :D

  • very nice bro! you didn't sound bad at all! the first one you played, the swiss army triplet helped me a lot when i first started developing ghost notes.. one thing though, more of an observation rather than a correcton: i don't know if it sounds like that because the camera is really close to the left snare drum, but i think your ghost notes should sound about half as loud as they sounded.. my tip is to try and play closer to the rim of the snare, it helps "blurring" the sound a little..try it!

  • Unfortunately, the snare is right underneath the camera. so i was actually playing it quietly, but there was no better place to put the camera.

Thanks for the spot though, if the camera was placed differently, i would appreciate that observation a lot.

    Cheers dude!

  • thanks 4 ur comment bro! i'm quite happy that i cme accross ur page cz ive been tryin 2 fit in ghost notes into alot of my stuff...bt thanks

    -Dan.

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH! I'm self-taught for 2 years and have been getting stuck in 'creative ruts'. You give good foundations for beat ideas to build on. I love it. I'm subscribing.

  • Thank you mate. i try to put these videos up for where i got stuck when i was starting out.

I'm really pleased they have helped you out!

  • Sorry to comment from so long ago, but i decided to watch this video again to see how well i explained things.

Anyway... How many times do i say "nice and slowly" I am a Fool. lol.

    Later Huckleberry!

  • Nice and slowly is good, it enhances the point of yours which is not to make too great haste in development but rather master step at a time.

Good thing you reminded me of this video, I tried some ghost notes again at last practice and thought that it would be good to check these videos of yours out again.

  • Lol. well they were basically made for you mate, so i am glad you checked again.

    remember... Nice and slowly ;)
