  • having one of these birds is like having a two year old FOREVER! they live a long time too.

  • That is a very vocal ad adorable M2! We have one named Sooky. He is 1.5 years old. He is such a love ad mumbles like yours. I would love for you to come and share some stories of your doll at our message board. You may have some great advice there too! Hugs Kitkatgold/Site owner ad Amdministrator

  • Plucking or chewing feathers does not mean she is unhappy at all. My goffin cockatoo began chewing(over-preening) her feathers a few years ago after a traumatic vet experience, but she is by no means unhappy. It is merely a bad habit, no different than us chewing our nails. Your Umbrella is adorable.

  • That is soooo funny. I am wanting a umbrella Cockatoo. Right now I have a Bare-eye or Goffin Cockatoo and he is a nut.

  • Very precious moments!!!

  • lol that is adorable. But muffin looks like she has a feather problem

  • Oh you should have seen her when I got her two years ago. She goes thru periods where she plucks them and other times when she is almost full. She mainly plucks her chest feathers.

Muffin is very clingy and loves attention, I notice when I am unable to play with her for a couple of days there are several feathers on the floor. She is a sweet bird and I wish I could give her more attention. Having a newborn, dog and wife make it difficult for me to give her a lot of attention.
