Hey Sync, I got paid from a small business that laid off 30 people with more seniority than me. Not because they made more money than me (non-union), but because they were lazy. My strong work ethic has allowed me to maintain my job and make more money that my former lazy co-workers. I was rewarded because I cared. They were released because they were selfish. @PungiFungi If they were more tolerant and open-minded then "political correctness" would not be so prevalent in media, on campus, etc. Liberals are the "thought police" -- they are tolerant only of those with whom they agree politically, This is a generalization of course, but assuming a roughly equal number of hard-core conservatives and hard-core liberals, it is very telling that those stifling the debate, shouting down speakers on campus, etc., are more often than not those on the left.

I can get a definition for both. I just went over to the online dictionary, and it informed me of the following. In summary:

I can get a definition for both. I just went over to the online dictionary, and it informed me of the following. In summary:
Stupidity is basically minor retardation, "lacking ordinary quickness... of mind; dull"
Ignorance is not so severe, as it is literally someone "lacking in knowledge or training."
In this sense, ignorance can be fixed, but stupidity can not. Or not to my knowledge, anyway. As an interesting aside, an antonym for ignorance is "learned", but there is nothing for stupid.
