No it isnt possible.. You need directX 10 and that's for Vista only

the loading time on this game SUCKED when i played it apon its release. Not sure how itle fair now with my new pc but i remember it wasnt just me who hated the loading time between sections of the game as you were playing (Like the Hl 2 loading, only far longer!).. Some reported upto 1 min 30 for some sections lol.. Kewl game all the same though i feel.

The graphics are pretty damn solid in this game. I hear the gameplay is decent. I don't think the public really took this game in well because it's a cowboy first person shooter, and most people computers can't handle it in DX10.

you cant just choose to enable it, you need a DX10 Graphics card AND Windows Vista. Then you´ve got DX10 automatically.

It's optimized for ATi cards. Just have to wait for the patch and Nvidia to optimise there DX10 cards. I got like 2 FPS more on 4GB ram and 2 GTX's

Ran at 1680x1050, maxed without AF.

Having enjoyed the demo, I was pretty dissapointed when Ubisoft upped the requirements. (the U.S. version REQUIRES a SM 3.0 GPU, where as the demo and other full versions elsewhere would work decently with my X700 Pro) At least I have yet another reason to get a new PC. Eventually. :(

Note that FRAPS reduced the FPS in this demo by almost half. My results on an 8800GTS 640MB at 1280x1024, all max, No AA were Min: 13.5, Max: 38.2, Avg: 22.1

I had it in runnign with two 8800GTX in SLI and it ran shit. it ran better with one card but i did have 16aa
