lol... "speedhunters rated (WTAC) the best motorsport event of the year." not quite... the people who read speedhunters did. and if you've seen the comments that those people post on speedhunters articles and facebook posts, you know how ignorant, immature, and laughably stupid those people are. and i definitely know that i wouldn't want to associate myself with them... just saying
@DRFTmonkeh We do actually do a fair bit research prior to associating ourselves with forums and clubs. A lot of those "ignorant, immature and laughably stupid" people as you called them, attend our event so we find our association with speedhunters mutually beneficial as our target demographic is very similar. We prefer to look for things that unite us - like the passion and enthusiasm for the motorsport, rather than things that divide - like differences of opinion and egos.
@SuperlapAustralia the people who attend your events, i assume your "target demographic," are as you say: informed and passionnate motorsports enthusiasts with a mutual appreciation for the sport. many speedhunters followers nowadays are just the opposite: narrow-minded, poorly-informed trolls behind a computer screen that bash and hate at every opportunity. this "people" isn't anyone's target demographic. but it is what many of us unfortunately associate with speedhunters these days
2010 and 2011 WTA were the best motorsport events that I went to in those years.
