He has never expressed public regret for this. He told Michigan residents at an event there that the financial services bailout was absolutely necessary. I respect and will protect a woman's right to choose. This choice is a deeply personal one. Women should be free to choose based on their own beliefs, not mine and not the government's. The truth is no candidate in the governor's race in either party would deny women abortion rights. So why did the Cato Institute, a well known and respected source of economic performance only give Romney a C grade? That's even below Schwarzzenegger, Richardson, and many other Democratic and Republican governors!

On Romney's recent appearance on 'This Week' with George Stephanopoulis, Richard Cohen of the Washington Post pointed out:
