@CanadianOutdoors this guy doesnt know how to work around the bones without having cuttin the bones off. i can do a better job filletin walleye. the 2nd part of this just shows how rookies do it.
Sounds like this guy had minimal teaching and had to figure out how to fillet on his own. Thus thinking he pioneered the common way to fillet walleye. Sloppy work, :(

sloppy job on first method and you didnt develope that technique, my grandfather has used it for 50+ years

you can get the meat on the ribs the first way, you just didn't do it right. you have to roll your knife down as your cutting on the ribs.
