yeah, well isn't this the same like Cisco's sub.interfaces since who knows when? and rate-limits for these interfaces in per BIT increments....
i think this promotional video is another epic fail of in this case HP and shows us how marketing screws your head over! and tries to sell consumers old technology.
@bvanderheijden1 The same as Cisco's sub-interfaces? Well yeah, they are pretty much the same when you look at it in this over simplistic way. Remember that this technology is really useful when you're virtualizing many servers; if you're just providing services on a physical server then there's not much fun about it, but when it comes to virtualized enviroments it's a whole different story.
@brianjv99 I realize this video is a little stale since Dell now runs Egenera's PAN Manager software as the Dell PAN system which has up to 31 (I believe) virtual network ports per server and does the Rate Limiting just as he speaks of.

I think cisco UCS was released before this as "worlds first blade server" for virtualization.
