This update affects only the designs whose images originated from Macross. @pheznik The Super Dimension Fortress Macross Original work(1982) adapted by Harmony Gold to become Robotech: The Macross Saga in 1985. No Destroid Warhawk any were in the anime.

BattleDroids (BattleTech) is a wargaming and science fiction franchise launched by FASA Corporation in 1984. The orginal First game which also released in 1984 HAD THE WARHAMMER ON THE FRONT COVER! AT that time they had a Lawsuit with George lucas over the word 'droid'. Again No mention of this Warhawk anywere.

@Xephon0930 To be honest don't have a clue, Battroid's are normally the transforming planes while the Destriods don't transformer. But I don't know what the official definition is.

It's a little funny; I got directed here via a Battletech thread. I have to say that these models are much better than the ones that were released for the Battletech cartoon. Not to stir up trouble, but do you have any thoughts on the whole unseen issue?

Well I never played BattleTech, but was a massive fan of MechWarrior. Its my understanding that BT copied some of their Mech styles from Japanese Anime, without paying for them. Then those Anime shows got licensed in the US by someone else who went to BT looking for royalties on image rights they purchased of the Mechs. Since there never was an agreement in place allowing BT us those Mechs designs they had to stop using them.

Don't know if you've heard this yet, but the hip joint on the tomahawk actually snaps downward to allow the legs greater articulation. They can be move forward.  It's mentioned in the little instruction page.

These new Destroids are really neat and all but the price is far to high for what it is. It's a shame because I really like them but I can't spend $100 plus shipping for what essentialy is, as you put it, a big action figure.
