I read that in Obama's first two years in office, Republicans spent more time, and effort to make Obama look bad and counter anything he tried to do than serve the country's interests. Yikes.
This guy was totaly inocent and just passing buy, there was nothing suspiscuss or threatning about him. These cops just seemed to want to fight. There was a lot more unecissary police brutality than that all around, from what I got out of it the cops were trying to intimidate people with crule uses of there non leathal arsenal. I am just saying this out of my own observations, I participated peacefuly on both sides.
The police there also very clearly reflected Tims tone in actions. I saw things of camra the are inexcusable. There was a guy riding his bike close to were amy goodman was arrested befor it happend. He was just passing buy and seemed like he could care less about what was going on. He passed by some riot police and whammm!!!!!!!! the officer knocked him off his bike and beat the crap out of him with the riot stick.
Most of the protesters were familys of working class people displaced or effected by the coruption in office which Tim here on the daily show seemed to be so againste. yet Tim did not want to raise corprate tax in Minnesota. Wow I can not believe how much of douchebag this guy is, he is so out of touch the real every day Minnesotain. He cut funds for disabled people, and vetoed the law that would allow chronicly ill people use medical marijauna. Oh and talk about wasting tax payers money this asshole is responsible for target feild right after the ecinomic meltdown of 2008 at the cost of about $400,000,000 to tax payers. Now he is leaving MN with a $6,200,000,000 deficet. what happend to puting it on a credit card?
What a disingenuous politically motivated "welcome" this was. If you don't like him, be honest about it instead off giving a a fake welcome. Not cool. Typical politician talk.
If Pawlenty runs, Obama will crush him in Minnesota. Timmy did poorly here in Lanesboro and Fillmore County. As they say down here in turkey territory, he's all gizzard and no grit.
Tim Pawlenty has done incredible for our state keeping spending in appropriate balance, and very good prioritizing. He'll be missed, including his MN humor. If you don't get it, your not Minnesotan! ;)
I was in Minneapolis this last week. Was great weather, sunshine, nice breezes... all that good stuff. Then come Saturday morning, when the Barackinator shows up in the Twin Cities, the weather turned to crap... just like that. Everywhere he goes, everything he touches turns to crap.
Typical censorship, deleting differing views. You did this your whole term while calling the Dems the uncompromising ones. Your publicist must be Karl Goebbels Rove.
Because Russia became independent republics 20 years ago, USSR no longer, is it possible for them to war within? 2 Russian Republics at war with one another? If so, could Alaska be the next Pearl Harbor? And could the fact that Russian scientists perform bizarre, brutal experiments on animals and humans be a parallell to Hitler? We need to PREVENT WWIII, and any/all nuclear missile use, at all costs. An expose would have brought Hitler down. Do we need an Expose on Russia?
@VacantLot33 Relax, the nuclear arms race ended when we came out with the Neutron bomb. Sure still some sabor rattling, but when we announced a little bomb that explodes way up in the air then rains down lethal amounts of radiation that penitrates even fallout bunkers, then disappears in 4-7 days leaving behind fully working enemy equipment, just minus any form of life, the russians threw in teh towel.
@SugarFreeDLy I forgot that these "defenders" of the Constitution have a bit of difficulty understanding and applying freedom of speech. I expect I'll be proven correct and this will disappear or be considered spam.
Tim says: Don't raise taxes; let everything shift to counties and cities and watch the property taxes zoom skyward. A pretty sight, you betcha! Don't send schools their budgeted money, if fact, take money back from schools that are fiscally responsible and have some $ in the bank. Yah, the schools can then borrow from banks and pay interest on it. The state won't pay interest in anything they hold or "borrow" from the schools. Gosh darn it looks good on paper - for real, not so much.
Another Minnesota-ism, "Oh, for dumb!" As in: Oh, ja, now Pawlenty is citing old-line Democrats in supporting his own "Party of No" cuts in state aid programs - oh, for dumb! Ja, he didn't support state taxes for dese 'tings, so now we gotta jack up our local taxes to pay for dem, an' so we ain't saving not'ing! Uffda! (the "j" is pronounced like "y")
T.Paw stay out of the 2012 Presidential election. There are better conservatives that will run ( Haley Barber). Instead concentrate on removing Amy Klobuchar. We have enough ugly Democrats representing Mn, especially with Frankenstein ( what an embarrassment).
T-Paw! Good job you got myself and two other teens laughing. I'm glad someone is getting back at Obama! And for the rest of you, the schools don't need more money so much as they need teachers that actually teach. Take it from a student, and yes, I live in and go to school in MN. In public schools.
I still can believe the crazy fools in MN who voted for that psychopath for Senator (AL Frankestein) and the socialist Obama. What you fools smoking up there?
@TCIrishMusic Our current president acts just as smug, if not more so, which is one of the reasons I didn't like him when he was just an IL Senator. At least Pawlenty is touting his accomplishments and behaving as if he understands the people of his state. Obama, eh, not so much.
Mr. Pawlenty - If you want to embarrass yourself with your childish and un-statesmanlike behavior, feel free. Just don't drag Minnesota into it. And don't let the door hit you in the ass on your way out.
@piwinter Minnesota is the 12th largest state in the union and it's minuscule population estimate of 5mil still ranks us at the 22nd largest by population. Seeing as how the United States makes up only 4.52% of the world population. This must mean we don't know anything about governing a nation. Awww shucks lets admit it, we're all just a bunch of really good landscapers.
Thanks for holding down government spending in MN, Governor. And for helping spread the conservative philosophy across this great nation. Keep up the good work!
