First it wastes it's venom on an animal that is already dead. (surely it's heat pit sensors picked up no heat)

And then it trys to work out how to get the Lion inside it, when the Lion is like 100x bigger than itself, width wise. Even an Anaconda would struggle to swallow an Adult Lion.
