Concept cars are prototypes that showcase manufactures ability to push the envelope of technology and style. They RARELY, if ever, make it to production, and if they do, it is after significant changes to make them more affordable, versatile, and generally effective as consumer vehicles.

There will still be plenty of affordable vehicles because that's where car companies make the majority of their revenue
