i started to play the blues myself couple year ago i am only 16 and i am allready making my own improvising with blues and it is really hard but really hard and this kid is kid god i am not jelous i dont know what i will become in future ^^

this kid is awesome! But the one thing i dont like is how he tries to imitate jimi hendrix and SRV so much I mean hes wearin a SRV hat! This kid needs to find his own style.

Even if you "try" to copy an artist, some of your own flair will always be there. That's why we have some great guitarist. If you listen close, we all borrow something from someone. I love that a youngster can miminc Stevie, or Buddy or for that matter even Jimi... maybe one day their dream will come true and they will be playing their own music.....but you can bet even then........ they may even borrow something from you!

He's better than me and I've been playing since I was 8 so I can't really throw any stones here but i've seen some of his more recent videos and it always sounds like he's trying to fit in as many notes as he can and he's not paying enough attention to that raw down and dirty sound that makes blues what it is, that's just my opinnion.

okay, maybe, but... check out his "little wing" vid, u can't deny that he is feeling it there, lots of notes when it calls for it, but incredible "feel" too. I would say that halland is going to be big but.. he already is big, this kid is already a pro... he isn't just going to make it, he already has

This guy is legit. This vid was when he was about 11 or 12. He is a bit older now and already well established. His voice has caught up to his guitar work, if you know what i mean. And his guitar work is even better now. Make no mistake, Halland has got it, bigtime.
