the method for making it 'snooze', by pushing the light down, just wasnt durable enough for my early morning disposition.

I've been looking around, and I think I've finally found what I've been looking for. Electronic beeps just don't do it, no matter how loud. Like the backup beeper on a truck, beeper clocks just don't register on the consciousness. This one does. It definitely intrudes. I'll look a bit more, but I think this the one.
