Snow Leopard now has a feature that MS has had for years.

Now, when a user deletes files, he can go to Trash and choose that the file is restored to its original location.

YAY!

In earlier OSX versions, the user had to remember where the file was deleted from, and drag it to that folder and drop it there.

Actually MacOS 8/9 had that before Windows did... (Possibly even MacOS 7) They removed it when OS X 10.0 came out...

In the File Menu... it was called "Put Away", they just decided to put that back in...

But you're right. Googled it and it turned out that System 6 (1988-1991) actually introduced that feature.

Since I never used any Mac OS before 10.5.x I don't know how "put away" worked. If it is like in OSX 10.6.x it is not as good as Windows Recycle Bin.

Why? You can only do it to 1 file at a time.

You can't hightligh multiple files and restore to their original location.

Still prefer OSX though. :)

The Mac OS, with its search feature existed before Windows 1.0 ever existed. Microsoft didn't have a search feature, you had to type "DIR" and then use your own eyeballs to track down a program in DOS, while the Mac had a GUI and Finder.

What a stupid statement. If their systems do in fact "suck" then no one would buy them and they would not make the "money they want". Example? MS's business has been way down since Vista was released. So much so they had to have their first mass layoff in their history.
