  • The problem with yards and solar cookers is that you often have to pick up the cooker and food and move the entire thing to get away from tree and building shadows. Great idea though if you have an unobstructed view of the sun most of the day from a single location. I know all my good spots and the times, so I just move everything every 3 or 4 hours. Morning and afternoons require the most frequent moves and adjustments to keep the cookers in the best possible light.

  • I have a new! tracking method for my solar accumulator. (Not this one because I couldn't find the right type of clock). It is a superaccurate (hopefully) waterclock that should be good for 8 hrs of solar tracking on equatorial mount. I tested it today and will build it soon. (I am sick right now)

  • I found a clock that works and I made a sloppy video of it working yesterday. It is here on utube too.
