With the struggles JJ and JL have had at QB for LSU it is unfathomable why he has not seen some snaps. Give him the read option and a read option pass.

It will probably be anywhere from 10 points to 1 point. I'd say most likely a field goal difference. I don't see a team (outside of the USC and PAC-9) with a true sophomore (at the beginning of the season, if it was the end it would be different.) beating USC. Carroll prepares his team for marquee matchups better than anybody else in the country, that's tressell's weakness lately.

for a QB, hes got the raw talent that Vince Young had, just less of it. Passing wise, LSU has some great pieces in place to help him develop with the signing of Rueben Randle. And with the right amount of preparation and work ethic, he could be Vince-like. Or not.
shepard's style can definitely work in college. and that's all that matters right now. crowton knows how to utilize such elite running qb's.. and this guy may not have the big arm but he can be accurate enough. jordan jefferson is more of a pro style qb with the big arm.. so i hope to see both qb's play for quite some time.

Hes not going to be a WR. Hes going to be listed as #2 QB on the depth chart. Will play as Wild Tiger QB, Z Wide Receiver, and Speed set Half Back. Possibly even have a shot at Kick-Off returns and Punt returns. But i seriously doubt he will be placed as a wide receiver right away. Noone really knows how well he is at catching the ball anyway.

as a usc fan i'm rooting for barkley to be better.
i've known all about pryor for a long time. my brother is a die hard buckeye fan.
pryor (in my opinion) will win a heisman by the time he graduates
and as long as he's not drafted the same year barkley is he'll probably be the first qb in his draft taken.
pryor is way better than shepard and is due to be one of if not the most explosive player in college football but i think barkley is better as a pure quarterback.

yeah yeah, but carroll has to run it up to get exposure and show what we can do when we want to. its the only way we get attention for the NC. i don't think oregon will be as good this year, and i'm confident we won't lose a conference game. but then again, we are usc, and we always manage to lose at least one game we shouldn't. how do people feel about the USC tOSU game down in ohio? i know my brother feels really confident.

there's no way they'll beat us twice. especially not at home. i'm much more worried about oregon. its in eugene (we haven't won in oregon in 3 years.) yeah berry looks like he could be good and devier posey and lamar thomas will be good i think. also dan herron and brandon saine. you guys will be much more explosive offensively. but i think our secondary is better than its been in the bcs era. and our linebackers looked good at the spring game (oh and congrats for the attendance record. wow.)

i see SC with a GREAT offense with a good defense. huge playmakers and i think i'd rather have corp, for our system. if i was a buckeye fan I'd much rather have pryor, he's a million times more talented than anyone on USC. but for our system, i think he would have a lot of trouble. with your guys' adapted playbook for him, he'll flourish. hopefully the nfl team that is blessed with his presence will try to do the same thing, though i think he could do well with the right coaching.

It will probably be anywhere from 10 points to 1 point. I'd say most likely a field goal difference. I don't see a team (outside of the USC and PAC-9) with a true sophomore (at the beginning of the season, if it was the end it would be different.) beating USC. Carroll prepares his team for marquee matchups better than anybody else in the country, that's tressell's weakness lately.

for a QB, hes got the raw talent that Vince Young had, just less of it. Passing wise, LSU has some great pieces in place to help him develop with the signing of Rueben Randle. And with the right amount of preparation and work ethic, he could be Vince-like. Or not.

shepard's style can definitely work in college. and that's all that matters right now. crowton knows how to utilize such elite running qb's.. and this guy may not have the big arm but he can be accurate enough. jordan jefferson is more of a pro style qb with the big arm.. so i hope to see both qb's play for quite some time.

Hes not going to be a WR. Hes going to be listed as #2 QB on the depth chart. Will play as Wild Tiger QB, Z Wide Receiver, and Speed set Half Back. Possibly even have a shot at Kick-Off returns and Punt returns. But i seriously doubt he will be placed as a wide receiver right away. Noone really knows how well he is at catching the ball anyway.

Great player. He doesn't look too fast on film but since he completely burned all the defenses on the video I won't question his speed. I don't think he should be the #1 recruit in the country though. Guys like Bryce Brown,Andre Debose,Matt Barkeley,etc. are all as good as him.
