@pestleman1951 Wow PM I hope you know this knuckle head "micers" is what we all call a "TROLL"< someone that is very bored with life and is clearly a miserable jerk and now wants to try and infect you. Nice comeback on your part! Peace..Jim
@slipknotnation Yep!! That was pretty much what I was doing. That and trying to avoid the embarrassment of having a cardiac event out in the middle of the Arizona badlands.
Dadgum took me two months to find your channel and subscribe! Already saw ya hunting with Ma 'n Pa. Great story, vid, and especially a great find! What a killer Clovis.
@creekdalton That, believe it or not[no one does],was the 5th or 6th intact clovis surface find in my life, depending on your definition of " intact " and " surface ". If you find a point in a foot of water at a lake edge, is it a surface find ? And for one as old as clovis, 95% is intact, Right?Thought I was on a perfect lucky streak til a car hit me a month later and broke most of the bones in my body.I'm just about recovered now, hope to be full in a few more months. But lucky streak,my ass!
Sweet lifetime find and I would say you have the Paleo thing worked out. I can see why you call yourself paestleman...LOL Thats just amazing after watching some of your vids. I'll been looking forward to your future ones.
@SOLIE6226 Yeah Sol, I don't have it anymore. The kids been out playing with it and broke it or lost it , can't remember what they said but I haven't seen it around here for a while.
What a great video to start Youtube'n. I can tell you've done you research. You've probably been lurking for a while and know about most of this community, but LAcountryboy and Richrelics find artifacts made out of some really colorful petrified wood. I'd be happy to find anything paleo. Keep the vids coming.
@Mudslide100 ,Actually I found the Point-tubers only a month ago and have collected in total secret forever. No more than 4 or 5 folks outside my wife and kids have ever seen my collection. I have hunted paleo stuff almost exclusively the last decade +, and have many 100s of paleo stuff [counting brokies], which in paleos I count.Been leaving all other brokies for the youngbloods many , many years.PM51.
@PistolPackingPatriot HeyPPP.No gps but hilltop is BURNED IN MY BRAIN. I had an accident a month after finding the clovis and a dozen surgeries since trying to put Humty back together again. But have't been back.We also found 6 or 8 snapped off paleo[clovis or folsom] bases that weekend. My bud has, but he walked within 3 giant steps of it the 1st time and missed it! Had his eye on something uphill maybe? It was calling me, shining a beacon in my in my eyes from at least 20[or more] feet away.
Unbelievable!! the flaking and it just laying whole wide open like that!! Wow you hit the jackpot!! Find of a lifetime!! Thanks for showing still looking for my clovis!!
@Jpsodydude Very interesting we here in Missouri find some clovi but not many.I think many camps cover lots of material with thousands of years of indians camping in the same spots or shifting rivers. Although I have been tolled that most Paleo people camped on high spots around here usually on open plains and grassy areas. I know a area that I want to look but Deer season and all make it hard. Maybe later in Dec. I go there!!
@Jpsodydude RE:the Precarious Clovi-Yes and furthermore I'm told the previous winter brought a hailstorm that covered that part of the country in golf balls and bigger! Totally agree with the Paleofolks LOVING HILLTOPS facing south with a grand view overlooking pastureland with running water nearby. It's worked for me. Best o Luck , Gary , PM51
Well until you sent this video I had no idea about your channel. I'm glad you contacted me and I really enjoyed the story of finding such an ancient relic! Subscribed and thumbed up!

Heck yeah man that's one FINE point! Great story too and enjoyed your video. Cool it has two different looks on each side, great flutes, and a nice little related tool kit to go with it!
@CarolinaArrowheads Thankx for the comment.Yeah that white mottling"groundstain" on the down side takes several thousand years to develop. There was a big cowtrail about 25 feet away. How that point wasn't in bits and and pieces? Go figure. And there were tiny loose hinge flakes near the tip that floated off in the breeze after being touched. Don't tell Bill Jackson. I saw him disqualify a points antiquity because it had loose hinge flakes. HA! KeepOn , PM1951
@ALABAMAHEADHUNTER Thankx for the comment.Yeah...Holy Grails...Holy Crusades...Dreams about Montana Agate or Horsecreek Chert clovis points..." I've got to learn to ignore these giant leering women ,they are demons only I can see..." [quote from ZAP COMIX , circa 1968. KeepOn ,PM1951
