I ask why are we closing out and sending the player to the baseline where it becomes a 1 on 1. Wouldn't it be better to closeout and be shoulder to shoulder with the ball handler? If anything I would prefer to send the ball handler to the top of the key not baseline.

what he said is true. you have to have desire to do anything or it won't work. when i don't have desire to play, and i'm thinking "ah i'll just play, whatever" then i got scored on a lot. but when i had desire, it was much harder for people to score.

qs: even when you close up or open up the other guys can pass the ball past you anyway, when he has his hands up, he can't actually take the ball away from the other guy, but can he take the ball if he is able to intersect it?.Anyone? lol I know this might be really dumb qs, but I am just starting out lol--so thnx:)
