yeah nobody paid for nothing. The guys running though were local pamplona runners and they got paid by red bull 500 euros each to run in front of the cars. It was loud. The one cars computer shut teh engine down because it started to over heat because of lack of air through the radiator. The crew ran over to the car and hooked up a special device with hoses I assume to circulate coolant into the engine. only on David Coulthard's car. Sébastien Bourdais drove the other one.
What do you mean? they came in , did a bunch of donuts, then stopped (engines still clearly running, one even did part of another to turn around). Then they shut the engines off to continue the festivities (and so the people in the arena wouldn't go deaf, no doubt).

These people were paid 500 euros each to run with the cars. Getting sandblasted by 200mph sand was included I suppose.
