  • Frank Zappa and Elvis Costello are in the Hall Of Fame and they didn't sell a ton of records either. So acts with a big influence on other acts have been included before. So don't forget acts like Graham Parker and XTC while we're talking about Hall Of Fame inductees with their important influence on the better known acts.

  • Graham is a Zevon-like writer, both brilliant and both locked out of the cleveland hall of fame. i guess great writers can't be allowed.

  • Bad audio or not, what a voice, what passion, and what a great song on another overlooked(Struck By Lighning, Burning Questions)album by one of the great singers and songwriters ever.

  • Moom.. check out his latest album it will mean so much in thi decade he just gets better...

  • This guy and the Rumour meant so much to me in the 70's. As a song writer he's rarely been bettered. Still brings tears of joy to my eyes.

  • @Moominkarma Me, too xx oo

  • he does a cool comfortably numb on this Pink Floyd tribute album called "A Fair Forgery"

  • Wow, hadn't listened to this song in so long - so great to be reminded of it. This was a great album!

  • Wonderful video- the new album "Don't Tell Columbus" is another full of excellent songs. The man is SO unjustly unappreciated..

  • Parker is one of the most talented musician/writers in the last 30 years. Been privledged to see him twice with the Rumour. He's too good for the A&R's in the music industry...

  • Another great Graham Parker album is "Struck By Lightning". Graham has a great edgy anxiety almost, an urgency to his singing... good stuff!

  • Yes! "She Wants So Many Things", "They Murdered The Clown", "Guardian Angel", "Wrapping Paper"....

    One of his best.

  • I wish I could find this CD.... maybe it's back in circulation... but I couldn't locate at the time of my original comment... thanks for the reply... going to look for it... yes great songs... unsung artist!

  • Try Amazon for finding Graham Parker. It's been very helpful to me in the past. That and my local independent record shop.

  • it's david sanborn, i believe. he was the host o' this show.

  • I recognise the guy who introduces GP but his name escapes me... anyone?

  • I think its saxophonist David Sanborn..

  • Howling Wind and Heat Treatment, practically two sides of the same album. My favorites.

  • Not sure why Graham never had the following he deserves

  • one of the most underrated artists graham will one day take his right place in the hall of fame..check out howling wind and squeezing if you a new to his great music long live graham..

  • Someone could have had a big hit with this tune . . .

  • Precious! "My Love's Stong" from "Human Soul"...what a great surprise!
