One of my fave Chick tunes, which means likely one my fave tunes period--but!--the definitive version for me will always be the one from "Inner Space", with the great Hubert Laws on flute--tempo is slower, and the general feel is profoundly lyrical, even tender. All fans should check it out, ASAP.
Yes. There is a version of this with Chick, Gary Burton, Dave Holland, Roy Haynes and Pat Metheny that is really nice. Chick, Gary and Pat all do a nice job.
@Offbeat1000 Yea!! I have that album "Liked Minds". The chemistry on that album is absolutely amazing. especially when burton, pat, and chick are playing all at the same time, yet they dont get in each other's way.
Pretty sure it was Oakland. I was in the Oregon Marching band visiting for the Holiday Bowl, and my buddy Brian asked if I wanted to go to one of his favorite Jazz clubs. I'm glad I did, she was really great.
does someone have the piano sheet?

@Yanzazzzz
Chick Corea wrote it. At least, that's what it says in the Real Book.

@TheScarletSonata He did write it. This rendition is off of "Now He Sings, Now He Sobs" which is the first recorded example.

Yoshi's in San Francisco or Yoshi's in Oakland? Well, they are both great places! This song is great too.

Five stars for you. Reminds me of when I saw this female pianist play this song at a place called "Yoshi's" and she dedicated the song to Bill Gates.
