why does the 300xe have 2 heads? one seems to be made out of aluminum while the other some sort of graphite...which is best and whats the difference between them? thnks

@thegreatcb7 The aluminum head has better casting ability but it is damaged easily and very prone to getting nicks in the top. (Which can cause the line to get caught while casting) I ended up having to throw out my aluminum head because it got so badly damaged over time that simply casting it would cause the line to fray.

If you take good care of the aluminum head, it would be your best choice, but switch to the graphite one if your using it in a situation where it could be damaged.

@ptorontoguy , are you bringing a boat? i was fishing on may neighbors property so unless you have a boat you'll need to fish at a boat ramp or public dock. if you would like i can send you a message with directions to a few good spots, if you have a boat i can tell you a few good spots also.

lol at the dog i just bought one of those mitchell reels i usually only use shiamnoo but i just bought the mitchell 300xe and am going to test it out tomorrow
