@lielime if you've been using it for years then you'd realise it was also a way to rip dvds/cds. If this guy was to go through everything each app could do the video would be too long, he just wanted to show us what he uses them for. I had iGetter and it never worked, so I left it. I started noticing I could not download any .dmg files. I searched around, and every website said to delete iGetter. I did, and my downloads weren't corrupted anymore.

kismac is legal for this reason. what if you forgot the password to your own network? ...i do this alot. that is legal. any legal application can be used for illegal purposes. if you share a file (document etc) with a friend via p2p, thats legal. downloading a movie is not.
