  • David, the Galaxy SIII will kill the iPhone. Period. You just don't know.

  • @kylemurdochshow Highly doubtful, iPhone might not come out with something better. But it will be the same.

  • worst was a blackberry bold 9700..it's just old technology now days..iPhone all the way

  • My mobile phone, a Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Pro. It's simply terrible. Horrible battery life, user experience and keyboard. It WAS pretty cheap, but still. Back to my BlackBerry Curve.

  • My worst purchase was buying a Nintendo DS Lite, don't know why I bought it - freakin terrible compared to my Sony PSP!

  • That's it. When you go from iPad to Kindle Fire is seems lackluster, but when you go from nothing to Kindle Fire it seems great.

  • playstation 3; sorry gamers :P I HATE GAMING!

  • mine would be a ipod DISCLAIMER because mine failed in a MONTH cause i had to restore it and it bricked

  • my worst tech purchase is a WINDOWS pc :D

  • LOL an Apple fucktard says he did not like Kindle and Samsung... very surprising.

  • @fvgotch So I guess because he's an "Apple fucktard" he's not entitled to his own opinions?

  • @Masterguy1243 Problem is, a fucktard like you don't spread opinion, instead you lie your ass off just to degrade and denounce.

  • @fvgotch Where did I spread my opinion? I said he's entitled to his own. I like Amazon's line of Kindles, and I like products from Samsung. He doesn't have to. You're a moron who obviously can't handle truth well being that because he likes Apple, apparently his opinions are thrown away and he's labeled as a fucktard fanboy, which he has stated before he is an Apple fanoby and has said he respects the other companies. You're dumb as fuck.

  • I always return the bad tech I have. :)

  • nook color nuff said

  • By far, my worst tech purchase had to have been the ham sandwich I bought at a gas station a couple weeks ago.

  • @SeanTech97 No duh it's faulty you retarded bitch.

  • @BlaineToTheRescue I would of I could afford a ficking iPhone. That shit is expensive.

  • My worst tech buy mas my iMac.....NOT! My worst buy was and acer when Windows 7 came out. Not only was the operating system bad, so was the damn computer! Btw, I love the kindle fire

  • my worst Purchace is The Snooki Book,A Shore Thing!!!!!! Sucky Book ever!!!

  • mw3

    and kindle fire

  • Talk boy deluxe....it broke :(

  • When I bought a PC....

I swear, I hate this thing. Will be getting another Mac soon.

  • Windows Vista, than

  • My worst tech buy,The Xbox 360. My 360 broke for no other reason but that it stopped reading disc. When I called tech support the told me it was already a year old, and that pretty much, unless it had a RROD(if you dont know what that is you've never had a xbox360) they have nothing they can do for me except charge me to fix the problem. I may had paid them for the repair if it had been at a reasonable price. My last xbox 360 died shortly after its warranty expired like my original also.

  • ZUNE!

  • My worst purchase........ MW3

  • obsidian 650d, i got my first haf x broken and missing the window side panel and the second one having all the connectors not plugged in requiring me to go in and waste time figuring out whats disconnected this did lead me to hating the haf x and wanting to replace it so i bought the 650d and off the bat i realized that its so small, the doors dont hold in place fully and its just except the material complete garbage especially the way it looks.. and my haf x is broken so im stuck lol

  • Mine has to the Kodak Easy Share camera. II just bought the nikon camera not that long ago. I should of done a unboxing for it .. :)

  • @CurlyChick82 @CurlyChick82 I did an unboxing on one and I have to say they are not bad check out my unboxing on it, and tell me what you think, thank you..

  • David, I agree with you on the Kindle Fire, my dad bought one, and after purchasing it he realized that it wasn't that great, so when it arrived in the mail he didn't even bother opening up the box, and he ended up just contacting the online store to issue a call tag and have it picked up and returned, lol. At least every other brand tablet we purchased we actually opened up and tested out before returning it. Our favorite out of them all was indeed the Apple Ipad.

  • For me it was the Nintendo Wii and Wii Fit.

  • Well, the fact the it's not that expensive as the Ipad makes sense that it might not be that powerful , and if you have an ipad , why did you buy the kindle fire , i guess you had to make a little more research but i respect your opinion :)

  • the wii

  • The wii was just the most irritating product to have. It has really bad controls if you look at call of duty.

  • @92NycGirl It mad be faulty then u bitch

  • My worst tech purchase was the NintendoDS

  • iPod touch 4G I know I'm gonna get hate for that since apple products are so fucking popular and shit. But honestly this iPod freezing all the times. Apps crash allot. And allot the apps are wack. It's just an all around terrible crap.

  • @92NycGirl maybe you should consider getting an iphone not a fucking ipod.

  • Worst tech purchase I ever had was a Dell Studio laptop a few years ago (had problems out of the box) before I switched to Mac.

  • The wii

  • I have to comment back that not all android based tablets are slow.

The kindlefire as noted in multiple benchmarks is laggy and slow at times. I'm not sure of that's crappy hardware or buggy software on Amazon's part. But you should note that.

The Barnes and noble nook tablet is a lot better then the kindlefire I've read and tested 1gb of ram. 16gb for content. Faster processors more responsive interface. Expandable with a SD card!

Sadly the interface doesn't feel like a android or ios

  • I hope many of you know that the Kindle fire is a cheap version of the ipad. It sucks compared to the ipad. Many tablets now are just cheap versions of the ipad. Also, many people(not all) who buy tablets usually don't have the money(at the time) to buy an ipad. Most of you android fans should realized that once the ipad was created, other companies tried to make the same thing. The funny thing is most android fans know the ipad is the best tablet out. They just can't admit it.

  • The Wii

  • My Blackberry 8520. This thing, how can I put this, is a piece of shit. It's labeled as a smartphone, but it's really a dumbphone. The UI is so slow and clunky and I just can't stand it anymore. It takes at least 3-5 minutes to download a simple little app that may be like 3 MB. Updating apps take forever too. But wait, it gets better. Once an app finishes updating, the phone has to be rebooted. Rebooting the phone takes at least 5 minutes. I can't wait until September when my contract is up.

  • Well, it wasn't exactly a purchase, but I ended up with a shocking "MP3 player"...though, the only reason it's the worst 'purchase' (found it in a trash can at work), is because it...well, shocks you. Makes for a fun deer camp, though.

  • PSP

  • Dell

  • A Sony Mylo

  • Restricted? Oh I think you mean ioS

  • HP Pavilion dv2000 with Windows V!$#@

  • PowerMac G5 was my worst buy.

  • apple fanboy!

  • psp

  • Nintendo ds lite

  • My worst tech purchase was HD-DVD Xbox 360 add on.

  • XM Satellite radio. I'm seriously not impressed with it.

  • @Nikiaf I kinda like mine. It beats listening to the stupid songs in my area!!!

  • iPod Nano 6g. Awful .

  • PSP Go.

  • I read your mind David before you even said kindle fire, like a bauss!

  • What apple product could you not live without?

  • archos 101 internet tablet ...absolutely sucked terrible over price bendy creaky and slow as fuck.......i now ill never buy from them again

  • Just remember the Kindle Fire is meant to be for READING BOOKS etc. You cant't really compare it to the iPad.

  • @TheTobymw99 The Kindle Fire is not meant for reading books. Its true intention is media consumption. The original Kindle, yes – that's intended for reading books.

  • @TheTobymw99 no its not... its a tablet that is meant for anything... you wouldnt go and compare the ipad to a amazon kindle just because you can read books on it

  • Has to be the Nintendo Wii, At first yes its really fun but after a couple of weeks i was bored. i havnt played it in over 2 year

  • APPLE PRODUCT HEHEHEH

  • psp go

  • ps2

  • SIDEKICK 4G

  • you remind me of steve-o ;P

  • @LetsPlayerJoel OMG I totally think the same! XD

  • Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 was my worst ever tech purchase. At first it was quick, good for internet, good for games and other apps. But throughout time it became really slow and laggy, even if I deleted all of my saved data from my phone memory.

  • does the apple ipad case count

  • Mine would be the htc Wildfire S for very por toch screen but that might just be mine.

  • Worse purchase? Blackberry Curve.

  • For me it has to be my Beats by Dre

  • An iMac. It was great as far as performance goes, but I started getting stains on the screen. I took it to the Apple Store for repairs, but they claimed it was environmental issues and not covered under the warranty. I was so mad. I sold it to someone who didn't care about the stains and bought a MacBook Pro. iMac's are off my list of future products.

  • @srprimeaux I am an apple user (but I also use windows and other products i.e. I am not a fanboy and open to using other products) but it seems as though apple really is an asshole about warranties.

  • @BravoAlphaSix I agree. In fact, Apple is the only company where the warranty on an item wasn't honored. I loved the product, but I just couldn't deal with it. Thankfully, the MacBook is doing fine.

  • my acer laptop i got for christmas 2011. it crashed 5 days after i got it

  • My worst purchase was the env touch!

  • my dell laptop. i hate myself for buying this. i shoud of buy a MacBook Pro

  • Non-android touch screen phones. Ive had like 3 and the touch screen is so laggy!

  • a dell

  • @technotornado i'm all on your side

  • A replacement 'engine' for a car (1996). They charged me £440 (which got me half a mile down the road) & then told me it was just a 'block' - whatever that means. Then they tried to justify ripping me off by claiming I was 'over-friendly' with the female 'receptionist' when all I was doing was answering informal questions while waiting for the 'work' to be done. When questioned about lack of oil in the engine they restarted the car several times to try to 'prove' a point.

    Ripoff cowboys!

  • I bot a very small mp3

  • I've got to say my copy of Windows Vista, way more happy with Windows 7 (:

  • Every single iPhone screen protector! They are the WORST and HARDEST things for a consumer to use!

  • @ItsZackk Check out my newest review from PureGear. I think you'll enjoy it. :)

  • The apple tv 2! -.- my ps3 makes a better media center. streaming is terrible. i'd rather download the content and put it on an sd card and watch it from the ps3. If its through itunes, i download the movie or tv show on my mac and then connect via hdmi. This saves so much time due to no buffering! you can't even connect a mass storage unit from the apple tv's micro usb. Also when i mirror airplay from my iphone there is noticeable lag. with 25 mbps internet, this should not be a problem!

  • Hardware wise nothing because I do a lot of research before buying any type of product. However when it comes to games it has to be buying black ops, MW3 and tbh I think that's it.

  • Recently I bought an iPad 2 and hated it for one reason, the size. I know its perfect for many people but not me 7" is spot on for me so i did end up buying a HTC Flyer. If a 7" iPad came along i would go for it.

But my overall worst purchase was a HTC Desire Z. I wish I had gone for the HD but i wanted a keyboard. Ended up in the WP7 camp and have never looked back :D

  • An Android phone!

  • David did you join YouTube partnership

  • @GamingEditorz Yes – four years ago.

  • worst purchase, xbox 360!

  • nook touch

    I HATE THE NOOK TOUCH!!!!!

but the nook tablet and the nook color are AWESOME!!!

  • This Acer laptop i am typing this on total crap and its only 4 months old

  • iphone 3g, thank god i switched to android.

  • my worst purchase is the hp pavilion dv5 1240eo. it overheated all the time (around 70-80 degress celsius while playing diablo 2), driver issues, freaking slow because of vista, although it became alot quicker after installing windows 7. it had a crappy battery, several hdd crash, etc

  • Windows 7

  • My worst purchase was buying an iPhone 3gs knowing the iPhone 4s was coming out soon ....

  • I'm glad that I own a Mac and don't have to buy another computer potentially for another decade.

  • Comment removed

  • Hmm, actually every product I've bought was perfect. I would ask my friend for reviews or try it in the store and it was just good. The worse product out of the good ones I bought was the Wii. It was absolutely amazing when I first bought it, but over time I just didn't use it. It wasn't bad, and It didn't come ruined or anything, I just, didn't love it lol

  • These discussions always give me a headache. Look, David is stating his opinion, it doesn't mean you are not allowed to think otherwise. David didn't like the Kindle Fire, but never said nobody else is allowed to like it. Why do some people have an obsession on starting an argument over personal opinions. What do you want him to say? The Kindle Fire is not his cup of tea but he would recommend it anyway? It's not like David to lie, he's a techreviewer not a salesperson.

  • The samsung 172X in 2004. It still works but it was $ 550 at the time.

  • The worst tech purchase for me is, the blackberry curve, they are so slow! Now that i have my iphone and ipad 2 i dont need anything like that:)

  • An expensive DVI-KVM switch.

  • worst product-amazon kindle, why didnt i get an ipad ?

  • Most Likely my old HP G70-111EM... It went back to John Lewis (UK) around 6-8 times and each time it came back and the documents said things like 'replaced motherboard' or 'faulty memory' or 'hard disk failure' - Now to me, these are all MAJOR things to go wrong with any machine, let alone a laptop! I work in IT and repairs and see most machines are HP's/Compaq's...

  • A PC

  • @AppleTechHelper I C WUT U DID THAR!

  • How much did you sell your kindle for?

  • Can't think of a product. I do allot of research before buying things.

For games, it would be Black Ops, Homefront and Tony Hawks Proving Grounds.

  • Refurbished Retro consoles (arrives defective) and new stuff that malfunctions.

  • My nook.

  • Samsung Galaxy S - I can't deal with Android, it's just terrible, way too much like a very unpolished Linux distro. But TouchWiz, that you cannot turn off, that seals it's fate as the worst phone I've ever bought.

  • My Iriver E200 was the worse tech purchase! It's awful.By the way it's a mp3 player. I think the only good MP3 player is the iPod.

  • i might get some hate but my worst absolute worst most bad buy is the computer i am curently typing on right now when i bought it i cant remember ever liking it it was slow over heats ALOT and the dysplay is nerly shot all to hell but im getting a i pad for my b day so i will get to finnaly get ride of this pos hey any one want old pos dell dino cause i got one

  • My worst tech purchase was an Xbox 360 re-chargeable battery pack, they said a fully re-charged Xbox controller can last up to 40 too 48 hours and within 3 hours of using the Xbox, my controller just quit on me. It was really disappointing considering the fact that i had to spend money, which costed me around 15 bucks and yatta yatta yatta

  • BlackBerry Torch that I replaced my broken iPhone with. It fucking sucks.

  • Probably a cheap mp3 player i bought from ebay, pretty much didn't work out of the box

  • My PS3, i must of had 4 or 5 replacements and the one i have now seems to be freezing quite a lot.

  • sony ericsson xperia x5 (android phone), absolutely terrible phone! the worst phone experience ive ever had!!

  • Apple in-ear headphones. Just because ear-canal headphones just don't work for me and those in-ear headphones cost me £65.

  • My worst purchase was everything i bought running windows its slow, thousands of bugs, viruses and you need to spend pointless amounts of money on virus protection and all shit like that which most of the time doesnt even work!

  • my worst tech purchase was a samsung windows phone, just really restricted in what it does and is not worth the £300 it was new

  • Worst tech purchase ever 30" computer monitor £700 quite expensive but still ok ive had better and now I use a samsung 22.5" monitor 1000000x better

  • HP Mini Laptop. It had overheating problems, horrible battery life, and just plain crap. I got a Dell Inspiron for Christmas and it seems to be working perfectly!

  • Worst would be a Nokia 5530 xpressmusic phone, laggy, slow, bad features, and bad build. But it was free on contract! Worst purchase I made was my PS3, friend dropped it months after having it, which half broke the disk drive (it still worked but i had to ram the disk in!) Bought it for £300 sold it for £89 two years later, ouch!

  • wow your such a let down when you make this videos

i like ios better then android

but this you need to stop making these videos about android

  • Worse would be a HP DV5-1110EM laptop, complete crap! Screen issues, overheating problems, poor battery life and a battery that doesn't want to charge! Sent back multiple times to HP and came back the same, got tired and bought myself a mac which I consider now my best purchase :)

  • @MrSausageFingerz I had that EXACT laptop for a while...Worst computer I've ever owned.

  • @WillThePlank Piece of crap sums it up!

  • ATI HD5770.. It simply didn't work. There was a major issue where people get gray screens and can't play shit for more than 5 minutes. Worst purchase ever.

  • Studio Beats by Dre

    guna return them soon

  • Magic Trackpad

  • @LukesMacintosh Really? I love mine!

  • @MrSausageFingerz I just couldn't get used to it.

  • @LukesMacintosh I've been using the trackpad in my macbook pro for years, I guess that's why I find it so comfortable to use.

  • Worst would be my blackberry.. Best would be my iPhone 4 or MacBook :)

  • @MacTech4ever95 obviously you dont like Windows cause you bought a HP computer which is crap. i have both windows and mac and prefer windows. much more selection, easier to customize, and my pc is 1/3rd the cost of my macbook and runs way faster.

  • A G3 iBook for my daughter last year. Why oh Why, Did I think it was a great idea. couldn't even watch a you tube video on it! Disaster!

  • I knew you were going to say that - completely 100% agree!

  • I take Davids opinion about the kindle fire and accept it, But I will be buying one if it comes over to the UK. Cannot wait :D and my worst purchase was buying a Sony Walkman after having an iPod for 5 years.

  • I agree with David BUT after rooting it and flashing it ...it turns. Into a beast
