  • Irvin's Marenghi is huge when you stand next to it. On this video it only looks small but when you see it at a steam rally it is a giant .

  • @Totallyfairorgans indeed it is

  • very interesting. sure reminds me of the old days at fairs I attended.. and some parades I watched too.. Thanks

  • The "Ghetto Blaster" is one of the best fairground or band organs I have heard on video. I can only imagine hearing this beast in person.

  • I always wanted to go to a band organ rally

  • This is great dorset steam fair, If you want a band organ rally search twinwoods.

  • in between songs on the 'ghetto blaster',you can faintly hear hips don't lie on one of the organs, possibly searles 115key 'centenary'

  • @dalekbitch Yup its the 115key

  • At 2:40... Is that the Candy Mountain Cave song from Charlie the Unicorn?! xD

  • What a great arrangement and organ!

  • It is but REALY charlie the unicorn got the song from another song.

  • Comment removed

  • The real name of the song is the "Clarenet Polka"

  • i like the stuff that graham owns, especially the oktoberfest organ

  • i dont approve of a few of the figures on the searles centenary 115 verbeeck.Carvings like that are quite rude.

  • We no what its called Robert. . . Graham called it the Ghetto Blaster simply because of the huge amount of noise that cmes from her, its a joke! =]

  • Lol "the Ghetto blaster" tell me about it!

  • "The Ghetto blaster"? thats not what its called its the South Sea Gavioli!!!!

Why do u call it that?

  • to buy the older organs you would have to be more than a millionaire, hope that anwsers your question and there are organ builders still building these for showman like my husband!

  • to buy the older organs you would have to be more than a millionaire, hope that anwsers your question?

  • How would one of these organs cost, where would you buy one from?? the fairground organ shop??

  • some of these bigger organs cost thousands infact one organ 6 years ago was sold for (GET READY FOR THIS) it was sold for..... (four hundred thousand pounds)and another organ of the same key is forsale for a similar price which is horrendous isint it? you can buy these organs from companies like , Dean organ builders, Alan Pell Music, Decap, Verbeek organ builders, Heebeen, Page and Howard and I think thats all.......

  • So do people still make songs for fairground organs then?, how do they do it?.

  • yes they do still make the books for all kinds of mechanical organs. Most arrangers are linked to places that have either computer controlled cutting machines or in some instances, there are those who still prefer to cut the books by hand. It is though, still big business in Holland, Belgium and England.

  • The ex-Irvin's 89 key Marenghi & 110 key Gavioli sound superb, a credit to the organ maintenance staff of Graham Atkinson

  • the Harry Potter music theme is in the video, right?

  • I believe from my 11 year son who is more clued up than me, that the 105 key Marenghi/Verbeeck is playing the theme from Harry Potter

  • The Centenary Organ is perfect, I really like the new façade!!!!!! Those new arrangements from Hiddo van Os are great!

  • There are those that think that the half naked model positioned at the top of the Centenary organ, is infact Vicky Pollard from "Little Britain"

  • @leach55 Whahahahaa!

  • @leach55 Lol, I do not like the present front of 'Centenary', much preferred the former one

  • oh yes, Hiddo Van Os's arrengement of Mika's 'Grace Kelly' on the Centenary Organ

  • Great video Graham,

Looks like there was a great selection at GDSF this year.
