Wow, this was actually a very nice commercial, I never had a Teddy Ruxpin toy as a little girl, but I certainly remember him, and I can relate to the ad ^_^

First manufacturer was Worlds of Wonder. They filed for bankruptcy in 1988 and after that Teddy was produced by Playskool.
