  • GAY!!!! Its people like this that think fags and chinks deserve to be treated like blacks and whites that ruien this world. We need the death penalty and we need equalty among humans. Humans are white and black. Not queer and yellow

  • i can't believe this has so little views.

  • thanks for showing how it started - human conscience is global, inherited to all humans independent from religion, customs, time

  • "It is only if human life is respected from conception to death that the ethics of peace is also possible and credible," concluded the Pope. "It is only then that non-violence can express itself in every direction; only then that we truly welcome creation, and only then that we can arrive at true justice." Pope Benedict XVI

  • Sharing, Justice and Peace.

  • Tibet deserved it. Check out the story The Myth of Tibet by Michale Parenti

  • I thought Amnesty Int. was a member of IANSA, actively working to disarm law abiding civilian populations in UN countries in an attempt to reduce civilian casualties from firearms.

Isnt self defense a human right? Why do these groups say it IS NOT, that civilians do not need arms because their gov & police will always be there to protect them? One would think these guys would know govs kill many of their own citizens.

Self defence is a human right, denied by Amnesty International.

  • Thats called a dictatorship.

  • you cant force the world to be good. it just doesnt work that way.

  • Wonderful and very instructive video: congratulations!

Teacher, Orléans University Law School, France.

  • Im all for human rights an amnesty international, but when people escape from prison and there faces cannot be shown to the public for the publics own safety because it breaches there human rights or a hate preacher cannot be deported back to there home country for inciting others to do terrorist attacks on civilians because it breaches there human rights, thats when i draw the line.

  • 1961 - USA joins Amnesty International

2010 - USA is still keeping prisoners in Guantanamo Bay, often without charge, where many have been tortured.

Where are the Blessings of Liberty today?

  • the lefter organization

  • I long for the day hate, prejudice, discrimination, greed, poverty, war, and hunger are irradicated.

  • I have been a great supporter of Amnesty International for years. Go to my channel to hear the song I wrote to help raise awareness of human rights issues!

  • Why are we even bothering? According to Steven Crowder, Guantanamo Bay is a holiday camp and if you're poor or impoverished, then you're a lazy sod who deserves no better.

    :)

  • @Eladas334 If there's anything to karma then I bet your gona be eating out of dumpster's one day, think long & hard on what kind of person you are to view your fellow man in such a way.

  • @spar10x you are a shithead low life and your country is also a shithead low life theives and child murderers. why you exist and why God does not destroy you is what amazes me. I guess scum & vermin have some purpose on earth; fertilizer.

  • Thank you Peter Beneson for your insight and determination. Here's to 50 years 2011.

  • God damn the USA fascist nation under Satan. God damn the fascist organization called the United Nations which represent the criminal governments all controlled by evil insane criminals who murder innocent men, women and children.

  • @politics105

Oh, fuck off you idiot. The world's got problems, but Jesus Christ, lighten up.

  • lol, Blair signing a declaration to denounce torture. Ha.

  • :)

    Agreed.

  • Why Amnesty doesn't care about Iraq and Gaza?

  • Amnestr is most interested in those places. we have more than 20 people working there

  • i think amnesty has not buy a venezuelan newspaper...

  • I think the biggest offense to human rights is right under our noses and no one even notices. This one makes a slave of us all and is the reason for chaos and destruction. Its the money system, no other thing in the world has more power than that. But yet its the fundamental cause to all the problems in the world and to us individually. Lets look at the root of the problem and not just say "defend our human rights" without knowing why they get violated in the first place.

  • You make a really good point, a lot of different aspects, causes off oppression and inequality are unexamined, ignored, or not recognized as they are enacted and implemented on a day to day basis, and are supported and maintained by economic injustice. I look forward to the day when the valleys are exalted and the hills and valleys made low.

  • Sounds about right but what do you propose as a solution (if one may ask humbly)?

  • Demand something specific from the government, gather 7000+ ppl and make it happen in 1 or 2 days.

  • 达赖只是西方用来分裂中国的工具。

  • Can Amnesty International take an official position clearly against the Merida Initiative? Sending US$ to unaccountable military regimes leads to greater human rights violations.

  • without human rights we are not free worldwide number one priority.

    Human rights and Justice.

I support amnesty, and human rights watch, and united nations for human rights, to them I say thank you very much and respects.

  • But it was inspired when students were arrested for toasting to liberty in Portugal, a western country. It was also at the forefront against Apartheid in South Africa.

Look at how Amnesty International has more recently reported on human rights abuses in Guantanomo Bay.

It consists of members from all nationalities, religions and cultures. Amnesty International is committed to human rights everywhere.

  • every American is being used as a tool!

  • wow, what a short-sited generalization. i'd like to think that many of us can think for ourselves, despite the abuses of our government, there are many of us fighting for what is right.

its stereotypes and generalizations like these that perpetuate ignorance.

  • I understand what you are saying but still my entire education from childhood has been there to teach me to be a tool as opposed to actualy educate. I work at a local grocery store and I live with the knowledge that the food we sell doesnt always get produced in a manner in line with human rights. I feel that every day I try to live a normal American life I am indirectly affecting someone negatively. I too am doing my best to help but it's hard when you cant escape the system that hurts others.

  • :O damn nazis.

  • en 2004 j"ai contacté Ai sous ....

  • See 'TIBET THE STORY OF A TRADEGY'

    'CRY OF THE SNOW LION'!

Try to google 'China modern tortures metods'.

    FREE TIBET !!!

  • Chinese Communist Party does everything it can to improve human rights! Tibetans and Chinese are happy unlike they were under Dalai Lama!

  • have you talked to any tibetans lately? funny, the ones who've escaped tibet and live in my town don't seem to feel that way!

i guess they are all ignorant radicals spreading lies...just like the members of Falun Gong. So their voices mean nothing and the official party line is the truth? right. i don't think so.

  • i think we are all ignorant. If you talk about truth, it's philosophical. If you talk about facts, they can be manufactured. Everyone of us just see the "facts" that are presented to us. Human rights? Let's start with "no Chinese and dogs" issues.

National of great powers like China/USA sometimes appeal to be too radical in their own views, and called the opposite brain-washed.

  • @niten73 I couldn't have said this any better. I may not be from Tibet, but I support and endorse their freedom from the Chinese gov't.

  • Grazie Amnesty di esistere, ti sostengo sempre, grazie ad amnesty posso aiutare le persone a ritrovare libertà e diritti.

    Peace and Love.

  • Thanks for that history lesson.

  • Amnesty has been a piece of my life since early childhood. I have watched commercials regarding this organization since the 60's. I have seen the news reports and lived a life in a way reflective with these beliefs along with Ghandi/Janism(sp?), Bagism, etc.

    Peace

  • Most of my friends in Germany don't know anything about ai. How come you know so much about it? What are your global views?

  • It has been discussed on Canadian television for decades. My global views are quite open. Please feel free to view my videos on my channel. I change them frequently and also have extensive playlists.

I believe in one world. Not a world made up of many rules, some archaic and some devastating.
