one time this girl went to slap me but clapped my ear like full on i was like 11 maybe..and i legit couldn't hear for like an hour and i started to flip out thinking id gone deff in that ear...also one time i had sergurey on my shoulder so they put local anestetic (totes spelt that wrong) and i woke up and in the daze i thought i was paralized in my right arm and thought i could never use it again lol...fun timez...fun timezzzzz
I had this bad sinus infection last winter, and stress brought it back at finals and made me extremely dizzy and the nurse I went and saw said that if it wasn't the infection making me dizzy that I'd need an MRI. That was extremely frightening. Especially like 2 weeks after I'd finished my antibiotic the dizziness came back one morning. Luckily that time I was just tired. But I was certainly worried there was something wrong in my head and my parents were completely unsympathetic.
I was once hit by a car while riding my bike. I was 15 at the time, and I recall getting up and taking off my helmet and looking at it... completely caved in. And then looking at the car windshield that I had bounced off of. Which was ALSO COMPLETELY CAVED IN. I was terrified at first that I might have brain damage from that, but all I got was a nasty bruise on the bottom of my foot. It was a really strange near-death experience. So yeah... wear a helmet, kids.
After finding out the news that my grandfather was dying of cancer, I decided to go for a walk alone. This is the first time this has ever happened by I passed out on the street. A nice woman put me in a cab, took me home, and my mom took care of me for the rest of the day. I was hallucinating, having panic attacks and had delirium.
I was in a rubber boat i'm at shallow bit of the sea and it was a classic moment, my eyes are closed i am sunbathing having a great time and then i open my eye and i am in the middle of the sea at the other end. I thought i was gonna drown
Your experience is a little similar to mine. I was in third grade though, and one day the blackboard (remember those?!) kept getting blurrier and blurrier. Only to realize that everything was just blurry. I was so scared and didn't say anything until I got home, and I went with my mom to get my eyes checked to get glasses that very afternoon. I was devastated. But I was so scared, because I didn't know what was happening.
The night before a fairly major op on my foot last year I completely freaked out thinking something would go majorly wrong and texted my friend at like 1am and cried for about an hour. Thankfully it all went fine, but for that hour I was so scared
I was at a party once. it was when I was young and a total alcohol newbie and I still hid it from my parents you know? Anyway this really drunk guy managed to throw really strong spirit in my open eyes and I was terrified that I was gonna go blind and was panicking "WHAT IF IM BLIND WHAT AM I GONNA TELL MY PARENTS OMG"
Omfg. I thought I was alone hahah. It happens to me all the time.. It looks like the flash of a picture & then my eye goes out. I never knew what it was though!
When I was really little, I had this major ear infection that ate most of my eardrum. Apparently, if my parents had waited another week to bring me to the doctor, I would have been permanently deaf. I had about 75% hearing loss and developed a huge speech impediment. Then my eyesight started to go in about 4th grade. But when one sense gets worse, others can get stronger and I got my hearing but to 100%. :D But now my eye doctor thinks I'll be blind by the time I'm 40. At least I can hear.
Totally way too late, but one night I woke up in the middle of the night to find that I couldn't move a single muscle. I was just kind of laying there trying to concentrate on my breathing because there was a pressure on my chest an it felt like something was choking me. Then in my peripheral vision, I saw a shadowy figure coming towards me. I literally thought I was going to die. I was like "I am going to stop breathing. Something is suffocating me and I'm going to die." I researched it and la
one time i fell asleep on my hand and when i woke up i couldn't feel it at all because obviously id cut off the circulation. I started flipping out and spazzing and thinking oh god should i tell mom this is so fucking weird are they gonna have to amputate it? my mind went everywhere but a minute later it started to tingle as the blood came back
I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes on May 10th, 2008. I was 10. I freaked out sooooooo much. All I really knew about diabetes at that point was that it involved needles (I used to be terrified of needles. Life's a bitch, ain't it?) and that people who had it couldn't eat sugar. God, I was an ignorant little child. But for reals, I was so scared because a) NEEDLES! and b) SUGAR! I thought I would never be able to eat ice cream again. When you think about it, it's a really scary thing.
I was 12 I had Papilledema and essentially it's pressure on the optical nerve and I was seeing double. People thought I had brain cancer, I was sent to a childrens hospital and a CT scan, and two lumbar punctures later it was because I had excess fluid in my brain. 10 years later I find out from my doctor that it is EXTREMELY rare in children that he's never seen anything like it before since women 40+ get it. I have a very slim chance of getting it again and it can cause blindness
When I was 12, my sister hit my eye with a tree branch, on Catalina island. If you don't already know about catalina, it is a small island, with maybe like 200 people living on it, in either one of two cities, and of course, we were in the smallest town there, with like 50 people living there, and I can't see out of that eye, there is tree bark in my eye, and it's bleeding. I opened my eye, and for a few seconds, it would not respond. I was fucking terrified.
A couple years ago a blood vessel in my eye popped, and I was completely terrified. I thought I had cancer or some horrible sickness, and then I showed my mom and she explained to me what it was. Not a big deal, but I was known as that kid with the weird-ass eye.
I was seeing silver flashes of light and when I went to the eye doctor they found that my optic nerves were swollen and I went through a ton of test for about a month and on my 18th birthday I had a spinal tap and it turns out that I have too much spinal fluid which is putting extra pressure in my head which caused my optic nerves to swell. I was terrified that I had a tumor the whole time I was getting tested and I still fear that I will lose my eyesight.
I had something similar happen to me in July..just woke up and everything was blurry..freaked me out to drive..couldn't see the street signs!! Not blind tho...just "eye strain" .. nbd but a little scary!!
Well, when I was 12, i was riding my bike in the rain and all of the sudden, the bike fell sideways, and it was crushing my ankle. I couldnt get up, i couldnt get the bike off me, and I was too far away from home to crawl. Then, this car pulls up and stops next to me on the side of the road, and this old as wrinkley man gets out and says "do you need help? where do you live?" I thought he was going to kidnap me. Turns out, him and wife are cool, and they really did just take me home(:
I did once have a little hyperventilate style panic when I got a random nosebleed (without poking or bashing it at all) and it lasted for 4 FREAKING HOURS, I thought I would die from blood loss.
I have a lazy eye, lol. Actually it's funny that I first watched this video today, because I'm wearing the same little sunglasses to but in front of your eyes. I just went to the eye doctor.
I thought that coincidence was hilarious.. actually..
A few months ago I woke from terrible abdominal pain. I found out hours later after going to the hospital that I had appendicitis. Doctor told me I could die if I didn't get surgery immediately. It was hearing those words that, didn't neccessay frighten me, kinda made me realize I could die. It was just a moment of intense perspective. Good news is I'm alive and well again :]
I remember one day when I was in school. Everyone had to stand up, I stood up then all a sudden everything started to get blurry and I could barely see then I started sweating all over like OH MY GOOD IM GOING BLIND! and I started to just freak out in my head. Finally after like 5 minutes, I sat down & after about 3 minutes could see and I was like :O WHOA WHAT JUST HAPPENED?
Just this past February, I went to the doctor for some pain I was having in my side. I went through all kinds of scans, but the only thing they could tell me was that there was a huge mass in my side. They told me that it was likely to be a tumor, but they wouldn't know until during surgery, and if it were cancer, then they would have a port put in during surgery as well. I went into surgery not knowing what would happen. As soon as I woke up I felt for the port, and it wasn't there! (:
I'd once gotten a high fever, and had to stay home.
My parents didn't believe I was too bad, but when I'd sat down for dinner, my vision started fading and I started freaking out. The sound began to tunnel after a minute, and I only heard white noise-screeching, then silence.
I went blind AND deaf for about ten minutes, in which I stuck out my arms and felt my way to the bathroom, because I felt like I was going to puke.
Doctors said it might have been related to heat stroke.. :/
When I was little, my mom took me to the hospital and I was like "Mom, whats wrong with me?" and she is like "I'll explain later." My whole family was there in my hospital room and they all looked freaker out. Then the docters gave me a needle, I fell asleep, and when I woke back up my mom said "It's ok. You just had surgery. You had a hole in your kidney." I my have been only 8 but I was like "BITCH, WHEN WERE YOU PLANNING TO TELL ME THIS! HUH, ONCE MY PEE BAGS EXPLODED!"
And one other time I was sick and didn't eat much or get off the couch for a week. Once I actually looked in the mirror and I looked really weird, and I went to a full length mirror and it scared me how skinny I was! I am 5'5" and I only weighed 90 lbs, I already look pretty thin at my normal weight, which is 110-115. I was so weak but I couldn't eat anything, I thought I was gonna starve!
One time it was like 2am and I took a deepish breath, then I went back to breathing normally, but it felt like not enough air, so I started breathing really deep and shaking all over and almost fainted and couldn't think straight. I ran to my parents' room and told my mom I couldn't breathe well. She got me some water and never called the doctor. It happens 1-2 times a week, but not as bad cuz I don't freak out now. Scary as shit!!
@RockIsTheWord I'm not a doctor, but that sounds like a panic attack. It isn't a big deal, but it feels like one! It's a big rush of adrenaline that hypes you up so everything feels *wrong.* That's scary so you freak out more & more adrenaline starts pumping & soon you're so far gone that you can't calm down. It helps to have someone (like mom) to calm you down. If it starts to harm your quality of life, call a doctor. They'll recommend a therapist who will give u ways to get through it :)
But on a more serious level it happens to many people to lose their eyesight. Luckily new technologies and particularly internet give them a chance to fit in, and live a close to normal life. I shot a 3mn video on that subject, in french though. If you go on "planètereporter" on youtube and subscribe to the channel, then click "voter", mine is called "nouvelles technologies: vision d'avenir". It'd be great if you could vote for me up to once a day until the 20th by clicking j'aime. thx ^^
I had an experience like heyheyhey1234ful. At the time I used to smoke. I was young, around 15, and I was afraid my friends would make fun of me "my god, you can' handle a few puffs". So despite barely seeing anything I walked down the stairs, kissed them goodbye, and went to hide down the street where I crouched praying for it to go. At that point the whole world looked like a fuzzy black and white tv screen,+ blury hearing. It was scary at the time but looking back quite an adventure!
Two years ago when I was in the 8th grade, I broke my left arm (I'm left-handed) and I was going to shock. I never been into shock so I thought I was dying since I saw blue strikes all over and I was getting really sleepy.
i got a concussion once, but i didnt know i was concussed. i was at school, sitting out in the hall during theater class. The bell rang for the end of the period and all of the sudden everyone was in the hallway and I hadnt heard the bell so i was like "WTF!?!?!?!?!?" and then i turned to my friend and asked why everyone was leaving their classrooms and her mouth was moving but i couldn't hear any words coming out of her mouth. turns out the concussion did something to my hearing temporarily.
Sooo...I was at the gym doing some crunches, nothing out of the ordinary...until I stood up. All of a sudden my head was like, buzzing or some crazy shit and I heard this weird electric sound. I was really dizzy for a minute and then it went away....until about 20 min later when I decided to stretch. Then it came back and I had a friggin conniption right there...at least the gym was empty and my boyfriend didn't think I was insane! :D
I'm 16 and i was on the highway for the first time on a 5 hour road trip. All of a sudden I could not see very well out of my left eye. It was sort of like it was constantly looking at a tv when it has the black and white static. It was awful and lasted about 30 mi urea. Not a good experience.
so this one nite we were bout to go to the mall and i had a q tip or sum thing in my ear and i accidentally ran in to the wall with it and i didn't wanna tell my parents bcuz my ear started to bleed but my dad of coarse saw the blood and my mom took me to the hospital
@steventhehopeless i was walkin in my room and and i guess i tripped my foot and sumthin and i ran into the wall wif tht thing in my ear it hurt like helll
I was eating this spray candy and i sprayed it in my eyes so it was at lunch so my friend helped me go to the nurse and then the nurse put like this thing in my eye then i read it and it said AVOID EYES and i was like OMG!!!
Some girls get lumps called "breast buds" when they are about to hit puberty. They are basically just there hard knots and they are pretty painful, but it means your boobs are about to grow (yay!). When I was about in fourth grade, I had one in and convinced myself I had breast cancer. I went to tell my mom, sobbing, and she basically told me I was retarded.
You know those ropes you can climb up in gym class? Well, I got to that top of that, and right after I rang the celebratory bell, the thing holding the rope made a cracking sound. There was a brand new crack in the wood around it. (I'm NOT fat, btw.) I didn't tell anybody, but I practically fell down the rope. Turns out, when they opened the school the next day, the rope had fallen down from the ceiling.
I was on a roller coaster and it stopped and made scary noises while we were all upside down and all of the people that worked there were freaking out and like, wide eyed and scared.
I was also in band class one day just playing my part and then my peripheral vision started to go black. Holy sweet baby Jesus I though I was having some problem or going blind. Just thought you'd want to know ;D
So once I had this little jungle gym thing and I had gloves on and I jumped to hang on it but since I had gloves on I slipped off and landed on my back. The air then got knocked out of my body. At the time I was like 5 and I though shit was going down and that I was going to die.
I had a concussion and was off work for a few weeks as I was pretty stupid. about week 3 i thought OMG what if I never get better? But a week later I realized that I didn't think the above thought any earlier, because I was too stupid. As I got better, I was able to think it. That means I was getting better.
my left kidney failed, so I had to go to the hospital, they gave me some pills and said everything would be fine...low and behold it wasn't, I got even sicker; went back to the hospital got pumped full of fluids because I couldn't eat or drink anything and then a week later my right kidney failed...yeah.... not so fun. BUT I'M STILL ALIVE :D hurray!
I have double vision so I know ur obstacle....but I made an eyepatch look sexy. I was just walking along and I looked down and noticed I had four feet. And so I freaked and now I'm stuck with double vision for life pretty much...damn eye disease. O well... gotta keep living right?
Umm, my mom drove on the wrong side of the road coming home from out of town in the dead of night and almost wasn't able to tell that a semi truck was barreling toward us.
OMG! that happened to me too! but it was during art class and then i had to go to my other classes...... they were upstairs so i thought i was gonna die from fall off the stairs since i couldnt see where i was going....... soo many people i ran in too :(
When I was 4 I had a accident in my wagon and got a nail stuck in my head and I was covered in my own blood.
When I was around 10, I fell off my razor scooter and my chin bounced off the ground 3 times and all of my weight landed on my wrist that some how didnt break,
When I was 16 in my welding class I nearly blew myself up when the flame from the tourch some how went up the to hose to the highly pressurised and highly famable tank, the same thing happend the very next year.
There's a bridge that I have to take several times a week and it has scored lower in safety than that bridge that collapsed in MN (or somewhere). Every time I go on it all I can think is "today's the day" so I've taken to driving with the window down and my seat belt off while half my head and arm are sticking out the window. YOU NEVER KNOW.
ugh I get those migraines all the time! No fun! The first time I got one I though I was having a stroke lol! I lost vision then feeling in half my body... I feel your pain! lol
when I was 16, I got bell's palsy on the right side of my face. Except I didn't know what that was at the time. So i was just freaking out that my face was paralyzed.
Ummm I slipped in the shower, knocked my head and passed out for about 5 minutes. When I...woke up? I couldn't see anything thand all i could feel was a sharp pain on the right side of my head. Basically my sight slowly came back and the first thing I saw was my hand covered in blood from a cut on the side of my head. Then I blacked out again from the pain, woke back up..and repeated that about twice.......
I have these everytime I have a migraine :(, and I had one at work once which scared me half to death at the prospect of whether or not it would clear up by the time I finished. I wouldn't have been able to drive home, and I wouldn't have been able to call someone to pick me up cause I'm like 170 miles from anyone who can actually drive who personally knows me well enough :P
well I was 12 when I thought I was going to die. See my mother is stupid and never notified me of a lady's 'time of the month' so when that day came for me...I literally thought I was dying. My mom had already left for work so I went to our local hospital and yelled at the receptionist and told her "I'm going to die! SAVE ME PLEASE!" and she was looking at me like I was crazy and asked what was going on. So I told her. when she figured out what was going on and told me....I was very embarrassed
I also have that when i get a migraine, it's like you looked straight at the sun but with one eye only. And when it passes the headache starts. I freaked out over it once though because before the headache started parts of my right body half started to fall asleep. First the hand, then the arm, the face and finally the tongue. It was scary and my mom thought i was having some kind of seizure. I also couldn't form sentences too well (like that grammy reporter). But just a migraine after all.
Hey I just wanted to say that I'm a big fan and that you have inspired me to start my own web series. And the rest of you can check out the first two episodes if you want on my channel, and give me some feedback good or bad
You know Tyler, I think watching your videos or this one in particualr jinxed me. So, I was driving friday and was having a hard time driving. Well it started to rain, and people were honking at me in the wallmart parking lot, because I pulled over. I was driving in the wrong lane apparently. It is just my right eye, and I was thinking maybe if I had an eye patch... lol. I ended up having to go to the ER because I was miserable. went home with eye drops and vicodin.
hahah this might sound realy gross, but once i did a split and bleeded, thought i lost my freaking virginity .. turned out i just got my period a week earlier :S
One time, I was a on a jumbo trampoline at my cousin's (cuz everyone has one in the suburbs of Chicago...) and then I did a back flip, missed the landing completely coming down, and then landed on my back flat on the lawn. Because the wind had gotten knocked out of me, I couldn't breathe and I lay there grasping for air. I swear I saw my life flashing before my eyes, but it turned out that it was just my little cousin laughing at my pain. About a week later, it still hurt to walk.
I wore contacts in high school and I kind of always slept in them and never took them out. One morning I was driving to school and my eyes started burning and watering and I decided to pull them out, the pain multiplied like 10 fold forcing me to call my mom before I could even get to class. The opthamologist said I had a hole in my eye, and for a second I was like "oh ma gawd!" then she told me it would heal in about 2 weeks. Lucky me.
@NamelessPencil um yeah that sounds allot like muscular degeneration my great grandma has it and so does my ant and my other grandma it runs in my family but yeah you should prob get that check out more because after time you go blind from it so you should prob go to an E.R just to be safe
I have like this reverse tunnel vision problem.. I can't see the "middle of the picture" and only the outer corners.. It's really weird.. The docs can't find a problem but it passes after like 10 minutes so no biggie.. a bit annoying in class tho -.-
I had an situation wear I went to the doctor for nose issues and when I took and X-ray the nurse said there was a hole in my nose and that they had to fill it in or it would collapse...NEEDLESS TO SAY I FREAKED! but when i went in for the follow up they re-took the X-ray and they said nothing was there and that there probably was something on the lighting board like a bug or a piece of lint
lol when i use to get high, one time i was laughing so hard and my mouth was REALLY dry and i didnt have any spit or moisture in my mouth and i was so worried cuz i couldnt swallow and i couldnt breathe cuz i was laughing that hard hahahaha and i didnt have or couldnt find anything to drink. So for about 5 mins while laughing I literally thought I was gonna die from laughter
Being asian and all.. I have the typical oriental gene of not being able to digest alcohol well. But this isnt really the major factor in what happened to me last friday.Mind you, I've had more to drink than I did that night. I mixed a few drinks by accident as I was thirsty and I just DRANK.My heart started beating super fast (as per usual) but I started having difficulty in breathing. And I got TERRIBFIED, I thought I was going to get a heart attack.Scary as shit. Never again. yup.Lesson learned
This past summer I had a double corneal infection in my eyes. My opthamologist said that if we hadn't caught it as early as we did, the results would be *quoting my doctor* "Life-altering".
D: D: D: Lesson I learned: keep your contact lenses CLEAN!
When i was having my first migraine everything went blurry and i saw squiggly lines and i was like WHATS GOING ON then i got this pain in my head and i was like OH MY GOD IM DYING D:
Today I wore contacts for the first time, so I was still getting used to them while I was driving to school. Well because of all my blinking one of them slipped, and I basically couldn't see a damn thing going 90km/h. Sooo much fun. :|
When I was 10, I was lying on my back on an unfinished basement floor watching a documentary with a friend about that guy who made himself into a cat. My friend (who is sitting up on the couch) thought it would be funny to jump on me (not funny). So he jumps, and plants his feet directly onto my chest breaking my sternum right down the center. I can't describe the feeling, but I could only breathe in about 1/3 of the way for the next month, and I had non stress related panic attacks. Scary shit.
My 10th grade cooking teacher had the entire left side of her body go numb because she was having a migraine. I'm sorry to say, but that beats going almost blind, but just by a bit.
omg, this one time, I plugged my boyfriends headphones in his laptop and the music blasted 100% in my ears. O.o Apparently when you plug them in, it remembers where you had the volume when you last had them plugged it. So my eardrums went really small and my ears hurt. Called my folks and they said it was fine. they will repair. I liturgically thought i was going to go def. Freaked out, but I'm here now along with my hearing. :)
Yes, I have experienced temporary blindness... caused by fatigue and jet lag and every thing being white from the snow. It went away in about 24 hours after some sleep.
A couple years ago, I decided to clean out my ears with a Q-Tip because I was getting sick and my ears were getting all types of nasty and I accidentally pushed in the wax and went deaf in my right ear. I freaked out, called my mom (nurse) and she said to go to the Urgent Care, but they weren't any help. I had to syringe in a mixture of water and hydrogen peroxide for a week until it all came out. It was so nasty.
I got hit in the face with a soccer ball and my vision went black for like 10 minutes in one eye... it didn't come back completely for a few days... I finished the game though...
One time I woke up in the middle of the night and went to itch my leg and all I could feel was my bed sheet. My first thought, "OH CRAP SOMEONE CUT OFF MY LEG"
Turns out I was so sleepy I missed my leg and was actually touching the bed.
I broke my pelvic bone and the doctors all thought I pulled my hamstring, so in the end it just healed on its own because they didn't know what to do.
I once thought I was going to go blind b/c I thought my cat had scratched my eye. It turned out she'd just scratched the inside of my eyelid, but it was terrifying. All I could think about was that I'd never be able to do gymnastics again. Who cares about driving or reading, right? Only gymnastics matters...
A few years ago I got really drunk and passed out on top of my right arm all night. The next morning I woke up I couldn't move it at all...literally. The second day it was extremely painful. The third day it still hurt really bad, but I could move it a little. The pain/ decreased ability to move lasted for about a week, but I was too scared to go to the doctor. Three years down the road in grad school I found out what happened to me is known as "Saturday Night Palsy".
Last week I began showing symptoms of cholera. I literally thought I was going to die. FYI, I live in Venezuela and cholera IS back. Anyway, I missed school for like three days (including some important tests), I used to shake throughout the night, the fever was killing me, the vomiting and the incessant crapping. In the end, it turns out I had a WORM in my stomach... Which, only made it worse. It also explained the weird tummy sensations.
A couple of weeks ago I was in bed when my left arm hurt a bit, and then I started telling myself that I was having a heart attack which made me panic. I was so convinced that I was going to die that I called a friend to make sure that someone knew if I were to pass out and die.
One time i had a terrible muscle cramp in my left foot. It was so scary because I literally couldn't move it or walk on it at all for like ten minutes. I was 15 and thought I was going to lose mobility in my left foot. LOL I'm so dramatic, clearly.
One time my sister and I were hanging out and all of a sudden I needed my inhaler. But I realized I forgot mine at home so my sister let me use hers. After using it, I started to feel sick. So I look at the label on my the inhaler and it says it is made with sulfur, which I am allergic to. I didn't know what was going to happen. We were rushing home and I felt really sick and it was SCARY!
I recently was burned by searing hot coffee in a cafe at the University I attend. The lady serving it to me, the supervisor, spilled it on my hand and hideously burned me. It was the most painful experiences I ever had, and she handed me ice and when I put it on the burn it PEELED my skin off right before my eyes. I freaked out and didn't know what to do, my mom was too far away to help and the lady didn't help. Luckily I got to the hospital later, but before that I was a crying, scared, mess.
On my ninth birthday I got a ring stuck on my finger and my mom told me we would have to go to the ER to get the ring cut off... I WAS SCARED SHITLESS. XD
Once when I was getting a filler, the dentist bruised my nerve while giving me the numbing shot. I couldn't taste anything on half of my tongue for like 2-3 months. I though I lost my ability to taste and I was devastated...I LOVE food. a good dream is one where I'm eating something AMAZING! But then it came back and everything was ok : )
I recently had a pericardial effusion and i couldnt breathe, felt like someone was stabbing me in the heart, so scary. turns out it was only minimal, but apparently arthritic people are prone to it.
yesterday, my sister was missing for like an hour and a half. cops were called, me and my brother running (literally) from place to place. we found her but it was so scary.
In 5th grade, I swallowed a very small amount of toothpaste while I was brushing my teeth, and I actually thought that was going to be my last day on Earth. But, here I am now. NO BIGGIE!
I ran into a guy on my soccer team when i was about six or seven and started to bleed from area right above my eye and I couldn't see shit. I thought I was going blind. But I didn't, yay :)
oh holla, i get occular migraines, and this was me when i got my first one!

RockIsTheWord 9 months ago
@RockIsTheWord I'm not a doctor, but that sounds like a panic attack. It isn't a big deal, but it feels like one! It's a big rush of adrenaline that hypes you up so everything feels *wrong.* That's scary so you freak out more & more adrenaline starts pumping & soon you're so far gone that you can't calm down. It helps to have someone (like mom) to calm you down. If it starts to harm your quality of life, call a doctor. They'll recommend a therapist who will give u ways to get through it :)

You know those ropes you can climb up in gym class? Well, I got to that top of that, and right after I rang the celebratory bell, the thing holding the rope made a cracking sound. This past summer I had a double corneal infection in my eyes. My opthamologist said that if we hadn't caught it as early as we did, the results would be *quoting my doctor* "Life-altering".

Every time my eyes get blurry for a split second, in my mind, I go, "OMG I'M GOING TO GO BLIND AND NEVER SEE AGAIN!"
I have 20/20 vision, and it's usually just a eyelash.
