Well, it is very big in most of Europe act., and it's certainly a lot more exciting to watch than baseball (prob. the most boring sport in the world - golf looks like an action sport in comp. ;-) ) or US football where they play 5-10 secs at a time with loooong breaks in between.

TV shows these games bec. it's a very pop. winter sport here. And it has lots of viewers.

Too bad people in the US haven't really discov. this exciting sport yet, where you can excell even without being 7ft tall ;-)
