  • what model is this & can 'certain' Sony models connect to a Mac?

  • Comment removed

  • what cord did you use? please help

  • This only works for non-HD clips on my Sony HD-SR11. The HD clips are in a .mts format that isnt recognized by my mac OSX 10.6. Did Sony pay this convergineer to mislead us into believing this would work? iMovie only pulls non-HD clips from cameras. There is some paid software that can do the conversion for $35. Windows 7 runs this with no problem. It worked on my MacBook Pro with Parallels and Windows 7. I would recommend not even recording in HD. Its been such a pain in the assSSS!!!!!

  • @fortega328

Wrong. iMovie will pull HD content just fine. However, iMovie will only let you import SD content from your camcorder IF you have ANY SD content on it all (even if you also have HD content). ie: if you want iMovie to see your HD content you must remove/delete all of your SD content first. This is an iMovie issue and not a Sony issue. Remove/Delete all of the SD content from the camcorder and iMovie will import/edit the HD AVCHD content just fine.

  • I LOVE YOUUUU ... OKAY? :)
