I have a F752LA presario laptop and I have it with Windows 7. Obviously I deleted the recovery partition and upgraded the ram from 512mb to 1.5 gb. It runs quite OK
I have this notebook as well, I upgraded it myself to a 250 GB Hard Drive.. and also added two extra western Digital hard drives and they are 640 GB each. I am going to try and make it faster and upgrade the memory comes with 1 GB and your right it does the non responsive thing.. but hey I am going to shoot for more.. and hope for the best
Me and my two sister got laptops for Christmas so there were 3 laptops (same model as in the video) my wont turn on and nether will my sisters they both look like they have the same problem I have done everything to try and fix them hp solution is to send it in and pay to have them fixed
I am not saying this laptop is bad, but many people I know have had way too many problems with compaq. The graphics card on my cousin's died a month after their two year warranty died, and it was integrated. They would have had to pay $400+ to replace the entire motherboard. My personal preference as far as laptops go is NOT HP, but Dell or Toshiba.
same comp hard drive burned out they sent me a new one after going threw 3 weeks of crap and wrong diagnoses one of witch cost me $25 I had to restore my computer about 50 times about 3 weeks ago it goes crap and it is out of warranty and for no reason it started working again then the wifi went out then it went crap again 3 months out of the of warranty and my computer wont turn on skip all of the hassle and dont buy hp I run kaspersky so it isn't a virus ether
You know what? Why don't you delete all the software off from other computers? Like, Dell, Gateway, IBM, eMachines, Acer, because all those manufactures have their own software installed.
And what do you expect? You won't get the best hardware for just $500, you're gonna have to spend more than that to get better hardware.
Plus, hard drive space. If you get a 120GB drive, for example, you won't get all 120GB because the space varies. This also applies to USB drives, CD, and DVD's.
I HATE it when people put these videos up and talk about all the HP, Dell and other companies crap being on their system, & the Restore takes up about 13+ Gigs.
And then they tell you to Remove the mess that you do not want.
Guess What People? Once you click that Restore Option.
You get ALL that crap back again.
Simple solution, that any 1/2 minded computer person should know.
i still dont know what the purpose of this is. i will never get this time back that I've spent watching this 'review'. I think you should remove the word review from the heading as you offer no review (actually you did mention the battery sucks - I'll give you that). any clown could look at the manual and see what you have said here. "i hear that's pretty good" and "i don't know about it but I think" etc etc etc.
i have (almost) the same laptop and i just have the laptop nothing else (is a long story). so i wanted to know how do u lock the AC adapter when u plug in to the PC cause it take off easy.
hi, i have compaq presario v6700! it's nice and really run fast! i think it's a great laptop i ever had! if you wanna c just click my name! thanks. . . =D
It is also worth noting that instead of taking the hassle of removing all of those unwanted programs (because that could take literally hours) you might as well do a fresh install of the operating system. Literally, when you get the unit out of the box.
Anyone who has a technology related question, please message me it and I may answer it in a video or by replying to you. (but most likely through video)
i have a question, wat was ur experience on the nvidia grpahic card compare to an ati, cause i have that laptop and i'm very please with it, also i was very pleased with the nvidia card, so do u rate the build in graphic card a good or a bad graphic card? also would an ati equivalent to power of that graphic card works better or worse?
I'm sorry that offended you StealthSniper. I just said that because usually... by the time people open up their laptops for the first time... they already know what the processor is from looking at the box upon purchasing it.
And It's not shared
