I took it to an exhaust shop. Paid $70 to get it installed. Safer for me because the install came with 1 year warranty from install date so if something went wrong like an exhaust leak. I would just take it to the shop again. The shop didn't have any issues installing it. They used the baskets that came with the exhaust. Have put 11 k miles on the exhaust with no issues. Great quality and sound.

hey i have a 2.5i '09 as well and was thinking about either getting a SPT or Tsudo exhaust. My question is "does the tsudo drone at highway speed?" thanks for your time...

I didn't gain much in the HP department. I did it for the sound. I have read on forums that the 2.5i only puts 130hp to all 4 wheels because of 40% drive train loss. It's rated at 170hp but that's not all wheel hp. I still love my car. Better on gas than WRX and insurance is a lot cheaper that WRX.

@5bbx93 Actually, the wrx is a bit better on gas than the basic impreza because of the turbo. Probably much cheaper on insurance though

No, I took it to a local muffler.shop and they did it for $70.

Yes... There aren't any exhausts that are custom made for the 2.5i. There were no fitment issues.
