yeah i dont use hr2510 that much , its over 10 years old, still like new, bought it as nice radio to have in my mobile but its not in the car i drive now, to expensive to take in and out where i live, but if i travel its in there, may put it in my home, but i need the license so i can drift away from the 40 base locals, but over all its a real nice radio!
Making sure the biasing is set correctly is the key to MRF477 longevity. If this one ever fails, I have a MRF 497 to replace it with.
I would like to find another 2510/2600 for cheap. I bought this one in need of repairs. I fixed it and was going to put it into service as a beacon. It works too good for that so I have a converted CB for the beacon.
Those HR2510 are great rigs, I have had a few of those, the only complaint is those MRF477 finals can go all of a sudden, but otherwise they are nice. Good luck!
Id like to do 10 meter portable at the G/Fs place but my 2510 is in the shop with a transmit issue.

Those HR2510 are great rigs, I have had a few of those, the only complaint is those MRF477 finals can go all of a sudden, but otherwise they are nice. Good luck!
