Armour etch loves these people. Scrape the cream back into the jar and reuse it. That bottle cost about eight bucks, and she used about half of it on a candy jar. If she reused it she probably could have made twenty of them.
Good techniques video! Thanks for posting ... I learned more from this "full step" process you presented than from several other one-minute snippets found elsewhere on YouTube.
Hi, Ashley great video. I work with glass etching quite a bit. How can I get a hold of you? I tried to send you an message on here but you have friend lock on. Let me know.

@glassartguy - Great tip! I don't know why that's not obvious, but now that you say it, it makes perfect sense! Thanks!

why would i want my jar to look like some one blew smoke in it and put the lid back on?

This is not a tutorial, it's a friggin' music video. Words do much better at teaching than music. This is useless.

Does the frosted/etched glass feel super smooth or is kind of rough?
exotikk1 1 year ago
in lieu of the songs, i'd rather have had it narrated, particularly describing the materials used. still, good video.

You know those latex gloves offer no protection for use with hydroflouric acid ? .
rondeco30 2 years ago
latex does keep HF acid off the skin, and it's nitrile free gloves that let it through. plus it's not HF acid they're using it's HC.
lozerkidkp 2 years ago
nitrile can keep HF away quite well. HF is stored in plastic bottles an as you know nitrile's also a synthetic
