I always thought his theme was a strange fit for him. There's just such a melancholy tone in it.

@SailorSolarstar true.. But think about it. The melancholy tone is actually why it fits him in the first place.

His unrequited love for Maggey, his constantly lowering pay (thanks to Miles) which results in a poor diet etc, and the way he is always shut down by Phoenix Wright (you) in the courtroom when he feels so confident about his "solid" testimonies.

Maybe if he could afford at least some fish- a known "brain food", if you will- he'd be that tiny bit more competent in everyday affairs to stop getting his pay cut... maybe even get some raises just from how hard he works. I mean, there's something there. He's proven that he can be awesome and that there IS something salvageable in that head of this. He just needs that last little push to get it all together, y'know?

@SailorSolarstar Well, his Ace Attorney Investigations remix certainly puts a more upbeat tone to it, which matches the name "I Can Do It When It Counts, Pal!" which fits him so well. I think this fits his day-to-day interactions with the character best, while the AAI mix would be when he busts into the courtroom with the decisive piece of evidence to save the case, just in the nick of time... He may be an idiot, but he's a lovable idiot, and he does come through when you need him most.
