@KEEP666 It’s not the world who forgot the incident, but Chiang Kai Shek, Mao Tse Tung and the Chinese people themselves before 1980. Why? Because “Nanking” has been a political issue, not a fact, from the very beginning. Communist China manipulates and disinforms to people on the case as always. Do you know, by the way, Jap has given $36 billion of ODA to China so far?
it is a victory march with the ashes of dead soldiers around the other soldiers necks
as for the person who said it was a stupid movie,maybe Sorokini376k is stupid as it is the retelling of the rape of nanking based on factual incedents and the movie didn't even cover a third of the attrocities that the japanese commited especially on women .try and read some history before commenting on things that you know nothing of
I had been laughing for a while as I assumed it’s a parody.
This is nothing related to an army, but all civilian, as if Snow White & 7 Dwarves marched into Tokyo haviing followed McArthur. The banner, drum, ash boxes, hachimaki, and the Awaodori dance, all joke.
Boy, wish that this clip got shown in Japan, and all Japanese veterans would share a good laughter. Most ridiculous war scene I have ever seen.
Although the film does have a Chinese nationalistic tone in the first part the final message is entirely different,and this scene is absolutely superb.
@thecharter1 I agree! This movie is awesome! I do have one thing I don't understand, Why do so many people have problems with nationalistic sentiments from the Chinese, especially on subjects that has absolutely nothing to do with the current government? Why do they tend to be okay with the same thing of other nations? Many Chinese history-based films have been labeled as propaganda films whereas movies of the same nature for the Americans would be a viewed as legit drama or "patriotic film".
@AquaExecution Personally speaking,in my view whether a film's nationalistic flavor is american,chinese,or whatever else the result is the same...the film will lose in,let us say,integrity...From what i read though the film was not nationalistic enough for some people in China,as the main character was Japanese...Anyway,to answer your question i believe that it is easier for europeans to pinpoint nationalistic sentiments in non-european films...
@thecharter1 Well said. I guess the whole bias against nationalistic films from China is none other than hypocrisy from western world. We are all the same.
People have problems with it because it is typical Chinese tactic to rile anti-Japanese sentiment in order to distract the people from on-going human rights abuses in the Glorious Peoples Republic. China has a huge population and the one thing the Chinese Government can count on to draw them together is going "lol remember Japan?" and suddenly everyones attentions divert away from Tibet and the Chinese atrocities.
@FleetOfRetribution If you say that Chinese have less rights to complain about the atrocities done to civilians in the past due to the doings of current government, does it mean that Jews can't complain about the holocaust because of what the current Israeli government is doing to Palestinians today? Does it mean Russians can't complain about their civilian casualties during the Nazi invasion because Stalin also killed millions of the same people Nazis killed? Your logic doesn't make sense!
Yes. I am saying all of those things and it makes perfect sense. They are hypocrites, they condemn others but carry out the same crimes they decry. The Chinese cry about Nanking, yet rape, murder, and oppress the Tibetans the same way the Japanese did them, yet are so quick to look down on the Japanese? Hello, they're doing the same thing. Stalin was worse than Hitler, but the Russians dont harp on about how they hate the germans like Chinese due toward Japanese.
@FleetOfRetribution "Russians dont harp on about how they hate the germans like Chinese due toward Japanese"
- I have talked to some Russians and they are still pretty bitter with Germans. The sentiment is not as strong partly because the current German government is not related to the Third Reich. The Japanese government, however, was never overthrown and what they have today (the royalties and the parliament) are direct decedents of those who committed the war atrocities.
What the heck are you talking about? It isn't the same government. Almost every Russian I've talked to has said nothing bad about Germany. The Japanese government is nothing like it was in the past, it isnt the same government, it isn't called the Dai Nippon Teikoku so the analogy of "ITZ NOT CALLED THE THIRD REICH" is dumb and wrong. Furthermore, the Diet is hardly composed of descendants from the Diet in WWII and the goddamned Emperor isn't even a political factor anymore.
The Chinese are bitter still at Japan because China constantly brings it up in order to divert attention away from their own atrocities and crimes, when the people of China get restless about their own government, the Propaganda Ministers of the Glorious Peoples Republic just churn up Anti-Japanese sentiment and suddenly the entire mass of ignorant peasants forget their own oppressive government and swoon over something 60 years past.
According to estimates, Japan accounts for more than 60 percent of China's ODA received. About 25 percent of the funding for all of China's infrastructure projects between 1994 and 1998 — including roads, railways, telecom systems and harbours — came from Japan.
@FleetOfRetribution That's all true, but so what? Much of India's infrastructure came from the British. Was it wrong of Ghandi to set off civil disobedience to drive the British out? What are you trying to say?
Japan never tried to make ammends, a lie. China rejected war repariations from Japan and instead took them as under-the-table ODA which they didn't even acknowledge existed until 2007 for the express purpose of keeping anti-Japanese sentiment high.
Japan raped women and killed children. So has every country ever in the history of war. You don't see the other victims constantly going on and on and on.
Last I checked I haven't seen waves and waves of Anti-Russian sentiment from Germans do to the fact that when the USSR rolled into Germany they slaughtered thousands and thousands, raped women, and murdered children. I don't see Japan harping on and on about how they hate the USA because the USA purposefully targetted Japanese civilians in order to "break their spirit." I don't see Germans hating the British for the deliberate carpet bombing of Civilian targets to break morale.
Israel is just as bad and has no business mentioning the holocaust when they push the same atrocities onto the Palestinians. You cannot take the moral high-ground when you commit the same the offenses that the ones you're crucifying have done. If you think it is ok for all Chinese people to be "WE HATE JAPAN DAMN STINKY JAPS", and constantly cry 60 years later about how terrible the Japanese were to them WHILE THEY DO THE SAME THING TO TIBET, YOU ARE A FOOL.
According to a UN report, "The Chinese occupation of Tibet has been characterised by acts of murder, rape and arbitrary imprisonment; torture and cruel, inhuman and degraded treatment of Tibetans on a large scale."
China does the same thing to Tibet that they cry foul over Japan doing, go figure.
@FleetOfRetribution Your comment is exactly what I don't understand. The atrocities was done to Chinese people during a time where the current government didn't even existed yet. Heck, even the Chinese forces that fled Nanking before the occupation were not communist! This is strictly an atrocity to civilians. Even if China today is under another government, it will not change the bitter sentiment from the people and similar films would still be made. So what would be the difference?
And they did not completely flee Nanking before the Japanese arrived. No. It was not strictly an atrocity to civilians. When the Japanese arrived they gave the city a 24 hour warning. Surrender or face annihilation. The leader of the KMT ordered Nanking to FIGHT UNTIL THE LAST MAN. When the Japanese overwhelmed the KMT defenders, only then did they flee, and to do so they forced their own civilans to strip of their clothes so they could put them on and blend in.
@FleetOfRetribution So raping women and killing children will help them identify the KMT defenders? Maybe the entire invasion in China wasn't about exterminating Chinese, but I can't say the same about the occupation in Nanking. The city was then the capital of the Republic of China and the Japanese generals wanted to kill the morale of the rest of the Chinese resistance and a large part of the atrocities were done with the purpose of terrorize the Chinese.
Today, surveys have shown that anti-Japanese sentiment in China is higher among the current generation than among the Chinese who actually lived through the occupation of the Second Sino-Japanese War. The CCP purposefully stirs up trouble to legitimize their own government as a majority of their claim was on how they 'beat' Japan. Raping women and killing children? Hm. Sounds like what China does in Tibet.
@FleetOfRetribution I agree with what you said about the CCP wanting to divert attention of the unhappy population to antagonize the Japanese, but history is history. Don't you think that it's already remarkable for the director to humanize some Japanese soldiers in this film, knowing what the general sentiment is like today?
He humanizes them by making it look like they held a victory parade down the streets of Nanking while dancing? I haven't seen the entire movie. Yes. History is History, which is why it is stupid for people in these comments to go on about how they hate japs, japs stink, japs this japs that japs are savages when they don't even know any Japanese people, they are going off of propaganda and stuff they weren't even alive to experience, and the people who WERE alive are less angry.
When they have MORE of a reason to be angry. Yes. What the Japanese did was wrong, but for christs sake, it was a war and what China did following it wasn't much better nor was what China was doing prior to it any better. You want to see the true character of the Japanese? Look up the Racial Equality Proposal of 1919, or the Japanese diplomat who defied his superior by issuing hundreds and hundreds of travel visas to Jews fleeing Hitler, even throwing blank visas out the train window as he left.
@FleetOfRetribution I'm perfectly aware of Chiune Sugihara in case you are wondering. I agree that hating the entire race of people is really stupid and is of no difference from the KKK. During the purge of Jews in the war a lot of Chinese also took in Jewish refugees fleeing form Europe. It only goes to show you that there are good people everywhere and the government policies then and now never reflect the view points of those with conscience.
Of the only reliable estimate, it is estimated that 40,000-60,000 civilians were all that was killed in Nanking. China likes to claim 300,000, but that number is grossly inflated as some of their own witnesses are people who weren't actually witnesses (such as a guy HIDING IN A CAVE). China made the 300,000 number up to fit their own purposes. That said, far more died in Japan. At max, China lost 3.87% of its population. Japan lost over 4%+. China just needs to get over it.
Comparing it to the holocaust is also extremely ignorant, there is a difference. The Holocaust was the specific targetting of the Jewish People to exterminate them simply because they were Jewish. The Japanese did not want to exterminate the entire Chinese race, they wanted to Colonize China, similar to how the Europeans colonized America by slaughtering countless millions or how the British colonized Canada by slaughtering millions, and we're supposed to take the moral high ground? Ha.
I am by no means excusing Imperial Japan's war crimes in Nanking, but that's an impressive dance. What a way to rub it into the Chinese's faces.... that kid's expression says it all.
(Part1)no Japanese high officials had ever become aware of the 'Nanking Massacre'.In those days Japan had no motive for conducting the mass killing of the Chinese citizens. In Germany, the holocaust, which might be frequently compared with the so-called 'Nanking Massacre' recently, was driven from a 'dominant motive' under the 'policy for extermination of Jewish people'.
(Part2)If the 'Nanking Massacre, had actually existed, there might have been some motivation. Indeed it was an argument of motivation that the Prosecution never tried to dispute so far. The Japanese had no 'policy to exterminate the Chinese'. The Prosecution explained that the motive was to threaten Chinese people. But no evidences were shown to prove it.
(Part3)On the contrary, Japan had a motive to avoid illegal actions. In those days Japan, running short in natural resources, entirely relied on the U.S. and Europe for the import of munitions and fuel, actually 65% of the import was from the U.S. and Europe. The embargo from the U.S. was barely avoided at the close of the Manchurian Incident, but at the start of the China Incident,
(Part4)the U.S. government began to think of drastic economic sanctions against Japan. In this situation, if the Japanese Army had constituted an infringement of international humanitarian laws in the manner of repeatedly committing atrocities to citizens and POWs, westerners would have been critical and the U.S. and Europe would have started economic sanctions against Japan accordingly.
(Part5)The fatal damage to Japan would have been inevitable. Having been well aware of these circumstances, the Japanese government had to absolutely avoid unnecessary and unlawful acts.
If the massacre of 300,000 persons had been planned, systematic planning procedures would have been necessary. If so, there must have been many official documents regarding mobilization plans through operation plans.
@kaito8209 Jesus, you wrote damn lots of stuff))))))) The fact is fact... Great Imperial Army really trully killed many many people, not only in China. Now you are denying because it's Japanese people's genetic structure, YOU GUYS simply do not want to LOSE YOUR FACE. Regarding to this, Germans are better than you(maybe because european culture is superior than asian)
【Part7】they peel person's skin even the man still alive, or they cut person's stomach and put many rocks in placed of organs. These ways of killing were not found in Japanese history therefore, Japanese were greatly shocked by the news.
【Part6】East Hopei Army which were consisted of Chinese people by Japanese-trained, they betrayed Japanese and joined Chinese, had closed the town gates for preventing Japanese run away from the town, and then they started the game of genocide. This was an unforeseen incident. Obviously, they started the game with not only making careful preparations but also acting organizationally.Chinese soldiers can scarcely be bothered to killing, for instance,
【Part5】I shouted "No Japanese here!?" and checked every house. We had been working on rescue work until midnight by the time the work was finished. I remembered the horrid sight that dead children noses were passed a wire like cows nose ring. Moreover, I saw an old woman was cut off her arm. Moreover, a pregnant woman was stabbed in the abdomen with bayonet. We found these dead bodies in garbage boxes or behind the wall.』
【Part4】7 or 8 women had been naked, raped, and shot.I saw some ladies' vagina were put bloom, some people's mouth were put sand, and another people were cut their stomach lengthwise.Around a pond near the East Gate, I saw six members of family were killed by Chinese. The victims necks were tied by an electric wire each other. Chinese must have dragged them. Their bodies were floated on the water. Needless to say, the water color was red with blood. In the town,
【Part3】Unmistakably,the Nanking Massacre was based on the Tungchow Mutiny. They took a hint from the mutiny. This is one of evidence shows that the Nanking Massacre was made up story.『There were many Japanese and Koreans dead bodies in there after I went out of the east gate. In a restaurant, ladies of 14 or 15 years up were raped, and the ladies and the other family members were cut off their necks and hands. The other restaurant whose name was AsahiKen I went in,
【Part2】Definitely, Chinese inhumanity killing ways and means was handed down in Chinese traditionally. In other words, Chinese only could do such a thing cruelly because this was the sort of stunt their ancestor always pulls.The other nationalities might aren't beyond the conception such as Chinese style. In short, The Nanking Massacre was a created story by Chinese who had killed nonresistance civilians of Japanese and Koreans in the Tungchow Mutiny.
【Part1】 "Chinese government created the history of Nanking Massacre, which based on the Tungchow Mutiny(通州事件) in 1937.”The Tungchow Mutiny was a cruel massacre because Chinese killed many nonresistance Japanese and Koreans civilians in Tōngzhōu, China on 29 July 1937. The slaughterer Chinese killed them mercilessly; the way of killing and torturing was the same as the way of time-honored custom in China.
(Part6)As a matter of fact, neither Rabe nor other westerners of the Safety Zone Committee members, who might have been able to walk around freely in the city with Nazi Swastika armband on, had ever witnessed illegal murders by Japanese soldiers during six weeks.
Please watch this.

(Part5)It was clearly proved by their testimonies at the IMTFE that no committee members had witnessed 'illegal murders by Japanese soldiers' at all. O. Wilson, who made many testimonies as to atrocities, did admit that all of his testimonies were hearsay.31 Magee, who lived with Bates and worked for the Safety Zone Committee, testified that he had just eye-witnessed only one case.
(Part4)the Safety Zone Committee investigated and concluded in the 'Note' in Documents of the Nanking Safety Zone that they had no right to protect about legitimate executions by the Japanese Army. The Safety Zone Committee also regarded the 'man in civilian clothes' as one of the Chinese Plain-clothes soldiers, and accepted that the execution was 'legal'. Both of two cases that the westerners witnessed were legal actions.
(Part3)It was said that no sooner had two Japanese soldiers challenged a Chinese walking along the street, he ran away. So he was shot behind. In the battlefield, such a case could not be avoidable. Another case was witnessed by C. Kroeger and Hatz. It was said 'that on the morning of January 9, they witnessed a Japanese officer and a soldier executing a poor man in civilian clothes in the pond inside the Safety Zone.' For this case,
(Part2)(It was regarded as an outer organization of the KMT.) And they were described as the notification on 405 cases of casualties submitted to Japanese authorities in Nanking. As for murder cases, there were 25 cases in all (49 casualties). Furthermore, the committee members witnessed only two cases among them. One of two cases was testified by J. Magee at the IMTFE. The incident happened on December 17.
(Part1)Then how many murders did the committee members eyewitness? The Safety Zone Committee recorded each one of 'burial acts committed by the Japanese Army', whether they knew right before the Nanking fall on December 12, 1937 through February 7, 1938. These records were compiled in Documents of the Nanking Safety Zone edited by Shuhsi Hsu, sometime adviser to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, under the auspices of the Council of International Affairs, Chungking.
Now, the CCP is so confident of and insistent on 'massacre of more than 300,000 in Nanking' that most of people has misunderstood as if there must be many definitive proofs. But, the Chinese postwar investigation are not able to prove even 10,000 of murders, much less 300,000.
【Part3】Although there lived more than 200,000 Chinese in Nanking eight years before, those Chinese were unwilling or negative in prosecuting the already defeated Japanese for their crimes, or very few could give reliable testimonies.
Please watch this.

Yahoo![ The Alleged 'Nanking Massacre' 再審「南京大虐殺」 ]
@kaito8209 I'm surprised that even in 2010 there are still people like you to have the balls of saying such irresponsible things. This has nothing to do with CCP or KMT. Heck, it's not even the Japanese civilians' problem since they knew nothing about all this. Atrocious acts such as Nanking massacre, Bataan Death March, and Comfort Women were all done by the power-hungry militants like Hideki Tojo and Kenji Doihara and the unethical military organization at the time. Even Hirohito is involved
【Part2】It was reported, however, that few responded to the crimes committed by Japanese Army and some refused to testify or to deny the massacre occurred when they were asked for details. Then, the KMT reluctantly submitted the tentative report to the IMTFE on January 20, 1946. Except for one 'testimony' made by a man named Lu Su, no other evidence of 'massacre by the Japanese Army' was available, besides burial records.
【Part1】According to Summary report on the Investigation of Japanese war crimes committed in Nanking, prepared by the Procurator of the District Court in Nanking, to prepare for the IMTFE, the KMT set up the 'Nanking Investigation Committee for Antagonists' Crime' on November 7, 1945, and appealed to the Chinese public to report Japanese Army's crimes.
@kaito8209 You need to stop blaming Chinese at making up numbers since you are missing the point completely. What you said sounded like a murderer on trial arguing that he didn't kill that many people, yet he is still guilty of murder. The Chinese are after the fact the Japanese government at the time was guilty and that's what you need to remember and teach to your youths. Stop dancing around the subject and start doing the math that doesn't even make a difference.
There were many Korean volunteers for the Japanese army at that time. knowing their sisters & mothers had forcibly been taken to the brothels and raped, they wanted to join the Japanese army? They couldn't they? They would have shot Japanese soldiers if that is Fact. Everyone in Japan who knew everything at the time.

@kaito8209 The so-called "precious film" is nothing more than the typical Japanese propaganda that is used to fool the Japanese public during the war, just like the photos they took themselves of their atrocious acts and then being stamped "not allowed" afterwards. There were no freedom of information at Japan during the war, it's virtually a dictatorship led by Tojo and is backed by Hirohito. You might as well believe other Nazi films if you think that something like this is even worth looking.
@kaito8209 And for the "Fake of Nanking Massacre", just by putting pictures of some cheering Chinese proves absolutely nothing. Of course there are those who would welcome or even pretend to welcome the Japanese, since it's their life and family at stake. We call those "漢奸” (traitors). If you think all Chinese were traitors at the time then you are dead wrong. I'm sure you can also find pictures of people welcoming the Nazis, do those make the Nazi invasions and atrocities legitimate?
(Part4)the reason why they have used to testify the massacre as if they have actually eye-witnessed it, is due to the social background that
they had been impressed on their mind with the historical view originated in such peculiar war culture of China. Japanese never kill nonresistant civilians when a battle. This is BUSHIDO (samurai spirits) Please study about Japanese history.
Please watch this.

yahoo![ The Alleged 'Nanking Massacre' 再審「南京大虐殺」 ]
(Part3) On the other hand, we should focus our attentions to the peculiar war culture of China, the so-called Slaughtering the castle (屠城.) 'What 'Slaughtering the castle' means is that 'at the time when the castle falls after having resisted following the enemy's advice for surrender, not only the warriors but also every citizen will be exterminated. While the Prosecution's Chinese witnesses have never eye-witnessed the massacre,
(Part2) not letting the Japanese Army take advantage of them.
On December 9, at noon, the Japanese Army scattered 'Bills advising surrender of the Chinese Army' from the plane in order to avoid unnecessary victims.From the Japanese historical point of view, when Japanese fought against enemy, they decided a battle area for war, which was called 合戦 in Japanese. Japanese samurai (warriors) always avoided that embroil innocent citizens in their war.
(Part1) Chiang Kai-Shek appointed Tang Sheng-zhi as the commander-in-chief of the Nanking Garrison (Nanking Defense Force), and ordered him to reinforce the wall and destroy citizen's properties outside the wall as the Chinese traditional tactics of the 'Scorched-earth policy'(堅壁清野作戦),
@kaito8209 Fake? Why germans can admit their wrong doing, while you, yellow people cannot. Is that because yellow race is trully under white race? Unterhuman? Remember how you massacred australian people?
This is the most grotesque scene in the whole movie, the most ruthless race combines with this kind of masterpeice, especially on the ruin of the city they just torn, this is mind twisting, this type of cenematics can get people crazy.
yo can we all imagine that if axies n japan rule the world wat will bcome of us today??hahahaha..maybe the war still goes on coz axies n japan both wan to ruel the whole world in the end they will fight each other..dun we think soo????hahaha
For those who haven't seen the movie, one of the main characters, a Japanese private shown in this clip, is appalled by what was going on around him, but was powerless to do anything about it. I thought it was an excellent straightforward movie.

@halwil03 No one can as the dance existed only in the directors brains before this clip.
You can find, though, a similar one. Search for "Awaodori", a folk dance of a region.

AquaExecution 3 months ago
@AquaExecution
FleetOfRetribution 3 months ago
@FleetOfRetribution "Russians dont harp on about how they hate the germans like Chinese due toward Japanese"
- I have talked to some Russians and they are still pretty bitter with Germans. The sentiment is not as strong partly because the current German government is not related to the Third Reich. The Japanese government, however, was never overthrown and what they have today (the royalties and the parliament) are direct decedents of those who committed the war atrocities.
MatthewMingLi 3 months ago
@MatthewMingLi
FleetOfRetribution 3 months ago
@MatthewMingLi
FleetOfRetribution 3 months ago
@MatthewMingLi
According to estimates, Japan accounts for more than 60 percent of China's ODA received. About 25 percent of the funding for all of China's infrastructure projects between 1994 and 1998 — including roads, railways, telecom systems and harbours — came from Japan.
FleetOfRetribution 3 months ago
@FleetOfRetribution That's all true, but so what? Much of India's infrastructure came from the British. Was it wrong of Ghandi to set off civil disobedience to drive the British out? What are you trying to say?
AquaExecution 3 months ago
@AquaExecution
Japan never apologized, a lie.
FleetOfRetribution 3 months ago
@AquaExecution
FleetOfRetribution 3 months ago
@AquaExecution
So what? So China needs to GET THE HELL OVER IT. That is what.
FleetOfRetribution 3 months ago
@AquaExecution
FleetOfRetribution 3 months ago
@AquaExecution
FleetOfRetribution 3 months ago
@FleetOfRetribution Your comment is exactly what I don't understand. The atrocities was done to Chinese people during a time where the current government didn't even existed yet. Heck, even the Chinese forces that fled Nanking before the occupation were not communist! This is strictly an atrocity to civilians. Even if China today is under another government, it will not change the bitter sentiment from the people and similar films would still be made. So what would be the difference?
AquaExecution 3 months ago
@AquaExecution
FleetOfRetribution 3 months ago
@FleetOfRetribution So raping women and killing children will help them identify the KMT defenders? Maybe the entire invasion in China wasn't about exterminating Chinese, but I can't say the same about the occupation in Nanking. The city was then the capital of the Republic of China and the Japanese generals wanted to kill the morale of the rest of the Chinese resistance and a large part of the atrocities were done with the purpose of terrorize the Chinese.
AquaExecution 3 months ago
@AquaExecution
FleetOfRetribution 3 months ago
@FleetOfRetribution I agree with what you said about the CCP wanting to divert attention of the unhappy population to antagonize the Japanese, but history is history. Don't you think that it's already remarkable for the director to humanize some Japanese soldiers in this film, knowing what the general sentiment is like today?
AquaExecution 3 months ago
@AquaExecution
FleetOfRetribution 3 months ago
When they have MORE of a reason to be angry. Yes. What the Japanese did was wrong, but for christs sake, it was a war and what China did following it wasn't much better nor was what China was doing prior to it any better. You want to see the true character of the Japanese? Look up the Racial Equality Proposal of 1919, or the Japanese diplomat who defied his superior by issuing hundreds and hundreds of travel visas to Jews fleeing Hitler, even throwing blank visas out the train window as he left.
FleetOfRetribution 3 months ago
@FleetOfRetribution I'm perfectly aware of Chiune Sugihara in case you are wondering. I agree that hating the entire race of people is really stupid and is of no difference from the KKK. During the purge of Jews in the war a lot of Chinese also took in Jewish refugees fleeing form Europe. It only goes to show you that there are good people everywhere and the government policies then and now never reflect the view points of those with conscience.
AquaExecution 3 months ago
@AquaExecution
Anyways. I'm done talking on this video. G'bye.
FleetOfRetribution 3 months ago
@AquaExecution
Demonizing an ENTIRE RACE of people for the actions carried out by a minority of the population during a war is just ignorant.
FleetOfRetribution 3 months ago
@AquaExecution
FleetOfRetribution 3 months ago
Comparing it to the holocaust is also extremely ignorant, there is a difference. The Holocaust was the specific targetting of the Jewish People to exterminate them simply because they were Jewish. The Japanese did not want to exterminate the entire Chinese race, they wanted to Colonize China, similar to how the Europeans colonized America by slaughtering countless millions or how the British colonized Canada by slaughtering millions, and we're supposed to take the moral high ground? Ha.

(Part1)no Japanese high officials had ever become aware of the 'Nanking Massacre'.In those days Japan had no motive for conducting the mass killing of the Chinese citizens. In Germany, the holocaust, which might be frequently compared with the so-called 'Nanking Massacre' recently, was driven from a 'dominant motive' under the 'policy for extermination of Jewish people'.
kaito8209 1 year ago
(Part2)If the 'Nanking Massacre, had actually existed, there might have been some motivation. Indeed it was an argument of motivation that the Prosecution never tried to dispute so far. The Japanese had no 'policy to exterminate the Chinese'. The Prosecution explained that the motive was to threaten Chinese people. But no evidences were shown to prove it.
kaito8209 1 year ago
(Part3)On the contrary, Japan had a motive to avoid illegal actions. In those days Japan, running short in natural resources, entirely relied on the U.S. and Europe for the import of munitions and fuel, actually 65% of the import was from the U.S. and Europe. The embargo from the U.S. was barely avoided at the close of the Manchurian Incident, but at the start of the China Incident,
kaito8209 1 year ago
(Part4)the U.S. government began to think of drastic economic sanctions against Japan. In this situation, if the Japanese Army had constituted an infringement of international humanitarian laws in the manner of repeatedly committing atrocities to citizens and POWs, westerners would have been critical and the U.S. and Europe would have started economic sanctions against Japan accordingly.
kaito8209 1 year ago
(Part5)The fatal damage to Japan would have been inevitable. Having been well aware of these circumstances, the Japanese government had to absolutely avoid unnecessary and unlawful acts.
If the massacre of 300,000 persons had been planned, systematic planning procedures would have been necessary. If so, there must have been many official documents regarding mobilization plans through operation plans.
kaito8209 1 year ago
@kaito8209 Jesus, you wrote damn lots of stuff))))))) The fact is fact... Great Imperial Army really trully killed many many people, not only in China. There were no freedom of information at Japan during the war, it's virtually a dictatorship led by Tojo and is backed by Hirohito.
