I absolutely love the melody of this song. I would like to hear a version with different instrumentation between the verses. The sounds were a little too synthesized, I think (strings and xylophone). Otherwise, this song is very beautiful and haunting. Even that is forgivable given everything else. Good luck on the contest!

@TheMourningKitchen LOL... What I mean is, when I first heard those sounds, it bugged me, but I liked the rest of the song so much, I was able to overlook it. ;-) Maybe even that will grow on me over time.

I have a strange quirk: when I really like something, I sometimes become far more picky that usual. I guess it is because I sense how close something is to greatness and don't like to see it miss the mark -- even slightly.

All this to say, you are in my top three. :-)
